Good morning folks!

I really hope everyone had a safe weekend!

July 4th has been the one holiday that Mrs E and I have had together for the last 20 years (even before we started dating) and have NEVER missed it. We've missed every holiday, anniversary, and celebration at least once, except July 4th. Normally, we'll go find an obscure fireworks show somewhere or do our own in the back yard, but things didnt quite pan out that way this year. I did manage to get some burgers grilled, and CJ bought some sparklers with his own money that he shared with his sisters. But other than that, it was a just another night.

The beach trip was pretty good. Traffic was actually good both Friday night and yesterday morning. I dont know how we missed it, but I'm glad we did. I managed to not get sunburned TOO badly. And, as far as I know, my liver is still functioning! So, win/win for me!

I better get going. I've got enough to keep me busy today, but it shouldnt be crazy like it was last week. Just busy. Y'all have a good day!!!

Good morning! Fireworks were good last night. We are high enough in the mountains that our back deck over looks the valley - we can see fireworks from many towns in the valley. So we watched fireworks and ate fruit pizza. I miss my kids on these holidays - kids make it fun!

What forum do I use to sell my non-Copper Creek items? I need to get rid of some things. Where is the Copper Creek forum to sell/PIF Copper Creek juice?

Hope you all had a safe 4th! Hubby gets an extra day off! Thank goodness, this job he has is totally stressing him out - 40-50 hours a week in the office, then 2-4 evening meetings with the people in China. Then there is the travel to China and the UK. Travel to CA isn't so bad, it doesn't screw up his sleep schedule.

I do have some awesome news to share. I posted a long time ago (close to a year) that our daughter was accepted to the DO (med) school in Kirksville MO. It wasn't her first choice. She had interviewed at the University of Des Moines (DO school) and the University of New England and was put on both schools wait list. Des Moines has always been her first choice because it has a great school. A week ago today Des Moines called her and she was offered a position at the school. So she is ditching Kirksville - and all the money she paid and going to Des Moines. She is currently homeless as she thought she was leaving for Kirksville last week. So she is family hoping. She went to the lake for a few days, one of her uncles from Des Moines was there and he unpacked her trunk and put everything in his pickup, so when she stops in Minneapolis on her way to Des Moines today she will be able to get the rest of her belongings packed in the car. So she is staying in Des Moines to look for an apartment. Then she drives back up north to Grand Fork and she and my mother-in-law are going to drive to Utah to stay with us. I'm happy for her! We'll go to Iowa in mid August for her White Coat Ceremony and then drive back to Minneapolis and have fun with friends and go to the state fair!

Ok - so I wrote 1/4 of a book. Sorry if your coffee got cold while reading :)

Janie! Congrats for your daughter, what wonderful news!

Here's the CC trading thread: Copper Creek Trading Thread...come trade your stuff!
For other stuff you will have to go to the forum classifieds. Drott or Bamrz will have a link, I don't because I'm not allowed in there.

Glad you had a good weekend James!

More to say, but I've gotta dash, crazy busy today. *poof*

Good news and bad news. Good news is my A/C works fine at home, the chewed cord is not an issue!!

Bad news is the A/C at work was out today. :( The guy actually did come to fix it sometime after 1pm.

It's freaking hot here! Excessive heat warnings through Friday. Stay cool/safe everyone!
