Hit the low 50's! Victor is okay, so far the verdict is an enlarged prostate. Now waiting for the blood and urine tests to come back just to be sure that's all. Poor bud, looks like he's getting neutered as that is the best treatment. $547 today. Good grief, I really really should have insisted on going to vet school. And my parents vetoed it.

We had 2 hours to kill while they were doing the ultrasound and stuff, so Mr. V and I went to 5 guys. Yum! After we were done he insisted we go to World Market. I couldn't get over how weird that was. He dashed in the door and headed to the back. When I found him he had a basket of Tim Tams.

One of my Christmas presents to myself arrived today! :) Ancestry.com dna testing. The other is 23 & Me. :) (Should be here in a day or 2)

Not sure if I've mentioned it, but I was adopted. The little bit of research I've been able to do tells me I have at least 1 half-sister and 2 full brothers. The best present ever would be to find/contact siblings (and parents if they are still alive) :) And I paid the extra bit to learn medical info, hopefully nothing nasty in there!

Both companies had great sales for Black Friday.

Wow! I had no idea that your area ever got them.
This is only the second one I've felt here, and I'll be 60 in April! The last one I was either in Jr high or high school, and it was about the same - felt a low rumble, and slight window rattle, lasted only a few seconds.

Oh, plus things are late. I got home after dark yesterday (around 6pm), and there was no mail in my box. Had 2 parcels that should have been delivered, but when I checked the tracking came up as "no secure place to leave item". At some time after 6pm, so probably computer generated. I'm assuming the carrier was out way too late and never attempted delivery, and hope I get them today. I had no mail at all, even though my Informed Delivery thingy said I had 3 letters coming too.

:( It's already getting ugly for the carriers. Mr. V uses an Explorer and he's packed to the roof from front to back. They get in trouble if they don't finish their route and sign back in the allotted time. Don't know if that's everywhere or just our PO. They really should allow more time during the holiday crunch.

It's getting quite ridiculous! We had 6 skids of Amazon parcels yesterday, plus USPS Priority parcels (at least 4 skids) and the FedEx and UPS Smartpost stuff. The guy that sorts parcels was still sorting furiously at 10 am, about an hour and a half after the carriers normally leave for the street!

I think we are well beyond what we did last year, just judging from the Christmas stamp sales I've done at the window. Last year, I only had a handful of people that bought 100 stamps or more at one time. This year, I'd estimate it's been about half the customers that buy at least 100-200 stamps or more at a time.
