Pie in the oven. Baked a Pumpkin and apple pie for Christmas. Hubby usually doesn't eat pumpkin pie. 2 pieces were eaten Christmas. Well when I got home from work Tuesday the whole pie was gone and the apple wasn't touched. Guess his taste changed.

Good deal on the peeler! I love it for apples, haven't done potatoes yet.

I had a guy do that to me on a fixed shipping charge item. He tried to add $35 because he had to drive to get a new box and packaging for UPS to accept it. Um, no. He even had his son contact me numerous times. "Dad's old, this is hard on him, blah blah." Dad isn't too old to sell antiques on Ebay though. I had to get Ebay involved just to get him to ship the blasted thing. I would have been a bit more giving, but I knew I was already paying top dollar for the item.

Freezing here also. Several water trips to the chicks. Wish I had electric out there.

I bought a MC windshield off ebay a few years back, guy tried to tell me he charged what he paid for shipping. Apparently he didn't think I could read the postage strip on the fracking package! And yes, he adjusted it!

People never fail to amaze me. And not always in a good way.

Ham and mashed potatoes once again tonight. I'm thinking scalloped potatoes and ham tomorrow. Sure wish the kids would have taken some with them.

Yuck. 4 here, no clue what the wind chill is. It's snowing. I'm ready for spring.

You know it is too cold outside when the car starts complaining. The tire pressure warning light came on for Mrs Punkin after the car was sitting outside for several hours. It was fine in the garage and for the ride there but complained for the ride home. I added some air to all of the tires and EVERYONE is happy again.

Only place I ventured to was out to the chicks several times. One gave me an egg. 20 real feel 10

Heatwave coming around the 6th 30s.
Ham and bean soups finishing up. Will have that tomorrow evening. Let the flavors mingle always better the next day. No ham salad Out of mayo. Could make some but not that energetic. Thinking Mac and cheese. Batter dipped fish (From a Box)

It's been awful pretty much everywhere, hasn't it? blech.

I found cold cuts in the fridge that had to be eaten, so we had sandwiches for dinner. Mr. V looked bummed, but I hate wasting food. Saved the ham bone over here too, I'll make soup over the weekend.

The wood rack ran empty today so it's cold in here. Mr. V is out fetching firewood right now. Then we get to pay the tax bills. *shudders*

Not yet. I put in 2 applications today Hubby was Bi tching about that.
