@DenZacker, I spent a lot of time just reading the e-juice forums to find good vendors online. I highly suggest looking through it. There are also tons of good juice reviews out there if you check through youtube or just on blogs. **or if you click on that word "review" in my post as I just realized after posting.

Flavour wise, are you looking for fruits, tobaccos, or desserts?
My top flavors currently:
French Vanilla Coffee (TVR) or Menthol Tobacco (TVR) in the AM with my coffee. (I really struggle with wanting to smoke with my coffee, this and drinking have been the hardest to overcome, but the menthol tobacco is helping a lot. I keep a tank full of it just for the mornings and weekend drinks and it's the only 18mg juice I have, I cut down to 12mg everywhere else)

And during the day
Strawberry cheesecake (TVR)
Chocolate Mint (TVR)
Strawberry Kiwi Menthol (Pitbull "Puppy Drool")
Apple Menthol (Pitbull "Orchard Menthol")
Peaches and Cream (TVR)

Pitbull is from my local brick and mortar but I think they sell online, no idea, and The Vapor Room is pretty spectacular, definitely worth a glance.
I'd highly suggest finding a local store and seeing if you can sample flavors. I have one near me that has everything set up to walk around the room and try a ton of flavors. This really helped me get a feel for what I was interested in and kind of gave me a jumping point for ordering flavors online. Also, some of the online vendors will let you get "sample packs". Part of the reason I order from TVR is because I can get a pack of 5 flavors in 6ml bottles so if I end up not liking one, it's not a huge waste of money. I've gotten to try a bunch of flavors that way and then order bigger bottles of things I really fall in love with. I really think a huge part of kicking the smoking habit was finding flavors I really enjoyed. . . that's when my occasional cigarette started to really taste like sh*t.

I needed to mimic the flavor of a cigarette when I first started, so that might be something to try. I do recommend going to a vape store and trying their flavors to see what suits you.

I only like the lighter tobacco flavors now especially when I've had a few beers. Virus from Nicoticket is a good complex tobacco flavor. But my favorite ADVs now tend to be dessert types, mostly vanilla.

Sometimes i still crave, I don't carry a pack with me and only when i'm extremely drunk i ask my friends for a cig. I have to admit, sometimes i have a half a cig in the ash tray (rolling weed) and i light that up.. but... it does taste like .... and immediately after i wonder why i just did that.

But i'm kinda weak. I tend to do whatever i want to.. If it's a cig, it's a cig that i light up.
But since i started vaping, i haven't "really" smoked.. not even once a week that i light up a cig. Vaping just tastes better

This is the second go around for me trying to quite the cigs...and I have been much more successful this time. 1rst go at it was with an eroll and a VV battery stick with some BDCC aspire heads. I only lasted a few weeks with this setup as it just didn't satisfy or replace the cigs for me...I think it really boiled down to flavours for me...I just couldn't find something that really grabbed me. I'm on my second go around this time and feel that I've really found a setup that is doing it for me. I went all out this time and got a Yihi SX mini m class with kanger tanks which really bring out the flavour for me. Also, NET flavours have come a long way IMO and they have helped a tonne. I recently tried all of Black Notes NET liquids and have died and gone to heaven! Absolutely fantastic tobacco flavours...they have really helped me to stay the course.

I've been fighting the cravings with a menthol from Halo called SubZero. It's very powerful with plenty of vapor on the inhale. They sell a menthol sample pack too. Mine is in 18 mg nicotine. I also have several different flavors in 24 mg nicotine but the SubZero tastes the way I wish my Newport's did and last time I smoked one and vaped SubZero alongside it, I enjoyed the vapor much more. So I'm remembering that experience and fighting the craving with this menthol. Good luck, I know how hard it is.

How do you guys handle the craving for smoking. I carry a pack with me for everywhere I go. Do you all do that, or do you throw them away? What helps you to focus your mind away from smoking thought?
I Dont really get cravings from analogues. I tried to smoke one time after I quit, and thought, "wow, they taste like crap, they have no flavor, and the cloud production is weak." The funny thing is, I keep a pack of Marlboro lights with me at all times, just as almost a test or tease, but never really have a craving to smoke them. I think the problem you are having is that you forgot just how nasty those things really are, or nostalgia if you will. However, now that you are a vaper, I get the feeling that even if you did try an analogue, you would not really enjoy it. Once you go vaping, it is hard to go back to that analogue garbage. Think of it like switch from a 56k modem to a cable modem. Why would you go back to a 56k modem? No point really, as vaping gives you the throat hit, the nicotine, and is a much cleaner experience.

I approached it as starting to vape instead of quitting smoking. Over a period of a couple weeks I found myself being less inclined to inhale a chemical laden burning leaf and more inclined to inhale the tasty Irish coffee in my vaporizer. Haven't touched a cigarette, nor had the desire to, since May 7th. (Besides I couldn't find the wattage control to boost the vapor production on my Marlboro Light. Inferior nicotine delivery system.)

I did both at first, but the tobacco cigs really began tasting nasty! It was actually easier, because I'd smoke half and think - why am I doing this, my vapor tastes so much better!

That being said, I continue to have cravings. It's been almost 4 months for me, and I haven't had an analog cig since about 2 weeks after I got serious about vaping. I have found that using tobacco flavored liquid does not help me, but it may help you.

I guess, I do what others have suggested - I just vape through the cravings. I had hoped it would be easier by now, and I know I enjoy vaping more - but those stinky things still seem to have some kind of hold on me. I just keep fighting the urge to go buy some, and hopefully - I will keep doing that.

Good luck, don't give up and like someone said - if you do give in - forgive yourself and just keep at it!

How long has it been since you smoked, what nic level are you using, what kind of vape setup do you have?

And BTW, welcome to ECF! :thumb: You're in the right place!

Thanks @AndriaD
I just bought 18mg Cherry flavored e-Liquid Nicotine from NICMAXX

Even I have tried the Maxx Menthol from the same. Can you suggest me some other flavors as I am new to vaping??

It's hard to recommend, really; for myself, I had to find something that at least *reminded* me of the flavor of the Slims I smoked for 30+ yrs, but I'm a lot pickier on flavor than lots of folks are. Some people want something tobacco-ish, though it's difficult to exactly replicate the taste of a burning cigarette since nothing is burning, but you might be able to come *close* -- then again, some folks want to get right away from the tobacco taste, onto the sweet flavors, though that seemed pretty weird to me, at first. :D That feeling lasted until I tasted Blueberry Muffin ejuice, and suddenly Virginia tasted really crappy, exactly like some stinking weed. ;)

I asked about how long you've gone without smoking, or at least *trying*, because there are specific times when it becomes a bit more difficult for a lot of people -- 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months. If you're around any of those times, it might be particularly hard. The best thing I can recommend is that it's really not necessary to just suddenly quit all at once just because you've started vaping; it took me about a month to make a total switch, and some people take a great deal longer before they can leave dual-use behind -- just because some people quit just by walking into a vape store, doesn't mean it happens that way for everyone, in fact I'd say they're probably in the minority.

I played the postpone/procrastinate game with myself; anytime I felt the urge to smoke, I'd say ok, right now I'll vape for a while... later if I REALLY want to, I'll go have a cigarette. At first, I often did go have that cigarette sometime later, and enjoyed them as long as I was able, but gradually, the more I postponed and procrastinated and vaped, the worse those coffin nails tasted; I also kept a tally sheet for every one I smoked, and as I saw the number decline each day, I started competing with the previous day, to see if I could smoke less -- but wtihout pressure, without coercion, without stress -- while I was dual using, if I REALLY WANTED a cigarette, then by golly I'd go have one, until finally, after I'd light it and take a couple drags, it would just taste like pure excrement-set-on-fire. When I got to the point where the cigarette gave me nothing but a bad taste and a stink I had to wash off my hands as soon as I went back inside, finally laying them down and leaving them there wasn't really that hard.

As for keeping cigarettes handy... it's not a bad idea to keep your last open pack around for a while; maybe in the freezer where they're not smacking you in the face with the thought of smoking everytime you turn around -- my last open pk with 12 in it is still in my freezer, and may stay there till they turn into tobacco-cicles. This works for me because the simple fact of their presence means that not smoking them is MY CHOICE -- nobody is forcing me, there is no pressure at all. I'd rather vape, it's just BETTER.

Also -- depending on how much you smoked, and how strong your cigarettes, 18mg might not be high enough; some need 24mg or even higher to be able to totally lay the cigarettes down.

The type of vaping hardware you have is also a factor, because some setups are more efficient and effective at delivering nicotine. You didn't say what you're using, so it's hard to know if what you have is effective.

Hang in there -- vaping really is the best way to quit cigarettes ever even dreamed about! Just keep vaping!

I stopped carrying cigarettes with me. And in the beginning I had to vape high nicotine level juices. I can now go down to a 6mg, but I felt cocky last week and tried a 0mg juice and maaaaannnnnnn I was itching for a smoke!

Does that mean the cravings never stop? I actually like the taste of cigs (hate methol and other flavoured cigs also) and the tobacco flavored juices never taste quite right.

CRAVINGS do stop. Passing thoughts, maybe never, though they become far less frequent in time.
