And, also, thanks to you, I just ordered the KR808D-1 starter kit. If I may ask you a couple of questions?
1) the kit comes with 5 pre-filled cartomizers, correct? I did ask them for 24mg instead of the 16mgs, btw. So, how long should these 5 cartomizers last me? Presently I am a 3/4-pack a day smoker.
2) Can I continue to order pre-filled cartomizers from the same site in the future? Or will I need to get blank ones and just order the fluid and fill them up myself? I'm not too concerned about cost - just want the easiest and most convenient way for myself!

you can order prefilled cartomizers from a number of places...they just have to be KR808d-1 cartomizers....or you can order blanks and fill them yourself with juice you can get any number of places...
As far as my personal preferences go on the KR808d-1...my preference is for cartomizers known as turbo cartomizers from vapornine..... with better quality juice from someplace like nhaler or vaporbomb..
you can use a syringe which you can often get from places like farm and feed stores for relatively cheap....Thanks for the quick reply, Jackie.
Okay, I think I'm starting to get a handle on this. Your explanation was very thorough! What I should now be looking to buy are blank cartos and whatever flavored juices I want. So, how does one get the cartos filled? A syringe? And, do they sell syringes on the vaposetc site? Any other equipment you think I'll need? A spare battery or charger, maybe?
I want to make sure I am fully stocked with everything I need, because I am looking to get off analogs all together (see, I'm learning fast - analogs are real cigarettes, right?).

the easiest way to fill is to use the condom cap fill method....which is essentually to take the rubber protectors off both ends of the cartomizer...and fill one 3/4 full with juice...and then take the cartomizer and slowly insert it into the filled cap mouthpiece side down....the juice will actually be sucked up into the cartomizer as you press it down...when it comes out the hole on the battery end it's full...wipe it off..and blow through it lightly and clean the connector on the battery end and let it sit for a couple of minutes..
PG gives TH and VG produces more vapor...alot of sites now mix the two and give you choices in percentages...
Flavor boos is like a flavor doubler...the flavoring is usually stronger so if you get a higher MG level than normal you can dilute it down without totally losing the flavor... for example a 24mg juice with flavor doubler...you coulds add enough vg or pg to get twice that amount at 12 mg without the flavor being completely washed away..
the 8 hour charge is left over from the older style battery days...it's not nessicary with li -ion batteries....just make sure the battery is in the charger all the way and once the charger light turns green it's good to go...
as for the amount of suction....different battery makers have different airflow..some you may have to suck harder... try not screwing your cartomizer on super tight and take a quick sharp primer puff followed by a regular slow inhale...
auto batteries are finicky little beasts and depending on the battery is either suction actuated or sound...some of them can be activated by shoving a carto endcap on the led end of the battery or by being near a magnet (suction activated)...or by loud noises like driving in the car with the window down (sound activated)...either way dropping auto batteries from any height has been known to kill them so be careful..
sometimes this is a known issue with the KR808d-1 though depending on the juice and flavor...you may get very little vapor... the key if it's firing is...do you hear it sizzle a bit when you draw on it? is the tip lighting up when you draw?...
eww....sorry that's bad advice...first he has a KR808d-1 so it's not a 3 piece but a 2 piece...
secondly you dont want to put soap in an atomizer...
brand new atomizers on a 3 piece...cover the threads with a paper towl and blow hard and sharp a few times into the atty....turn it around and do the same thing blowing from the thread end...drip about 6 drops of pg or juice into it and repeat...clean threads..put 2 drops of juice onto the bridge...put on cartridge..and take the first 6 or so puffs without completely inhaling...good to go...
