My buddy is complaining that with the single coil deck, his airflow is too restrictive, so it might work for mtl hitters. i dunno, cause i'm a lung hitter.
Wow, I'm not even sure how that's possible mine is like a wind tunnel. Did he try boosting the coil off the deck a little bit higher. Not busting your chops storm but that one thing I never thought I would hear about this tank.
i dunno, my theory is that he is doing something wrong. he says he'll try the dual coil deck tomorrow, but he also says his v2 is giving his juice a strange flavor, which i also don't understand. I'm totally digging mine, still on the first tankful
his one complaint that others might run into is that the post holes are too small for him to put titanium builds in. I only use kanthal and nichrome, and while the holes are rather small, i don't see it as a big issue or problem

Do ya'll think I would need to take out ALL the O-Rings b4 I put the V2 (broken down into respective sections) into my Ultra-Sonic washer ? Leave the O-Rings on the counter, or still attached ?
Another thing, It really feels like plastic, not glass like we were told in the beginning, for the tank sections. Thoughts ? My serial # is 1939 BTW. I'm comparing the Cthulhu V2 to my Lemo V2 Pyrex tank sections.
I think they are glass, and i always just leave the orings on when i put my stuff in the ultrasonic
You should've gotten 2 tanks...one Pyrex and the other (I believe) is polycarbonate.
Got mine tonight, cleaned it up, didn't feel, look or smell like it had oil on it but cleaned it anyways.... Went with the single coil deck, put in a twisted twisted 32g coil, 4 wraps at either 2.5 or 3 mm (forgot what I used, wrapped it weeks ago) and it came in at 0.6 ohms....
Wicked with regular old cotton, filled it with some tmaxx banana dragonberry, plenty of vapor, no flavor.... Eventually got some burnt hits, took it apart and the wick's not burnt, but haven't had that taste again, still barely any flavor, even with the air closed off, but I have been working on a pretty strong absinthe and horehound DIY so I might have overworked taste buds right now....
No leaks with filling, but there is a small chip in the clear glass, on the outside.... Dual coil deck, the positive post is crooked like a picture posted pages back, tighten the piece holding it to the deck and it straighten a bit.... Mine is 0966....

Ahh, That makes sense then. The Clear one was installed along with the single coil base when I opened the package tonight. I haven't even checked out the frosted tank.
I believe it was stated somewhere in this thread previously that both tanks are glass.
Joshua confirmed twice in this thread that they are both glass, yes
I like the Cthulhu V2 so far. I can close the juice control, but only when it's on my mod, otherwise it just unscrews the tank. The airflow control is unstuck, although still very snug, and I can adjust it, but only if I take the tank off my mod. I'm still not getting any leaks when top filling whether I close the juice flow or not. That's a win in my book.
Yeah, I know. It's just that they feel/sound different than the Pyrex of my Lemo V2. Different grade or quality maybe ?
Keep getting dry hits , o rings for juice control to thick can't move it , useless. Plus the wick holding doesn't come off. So far not pleased with this , extremely frustrated. And flavor isn't there for the hits that aren't burnt. Have dual Clapton, 26/32 .3ohms
I had to wick mine twice before i got it right, i ended up with cotton just long enough to stuff lightly under the ring. before that i was getting almost dry hits, afterwards, nothing but vaping pleasure.
