Beat me to it [emoji12]The single coil deck is similar to the kanger subtank deck.
Those are old pics from a pre production model. The pics above are newer, there are several changes, not just the single coil deck.I don't think it's like the subtank's rba, it looks more like a kayfun, flat across the top, no 'ears' next to the screws. I wish it did have them, so much easier to use. I'm basing that on pics found here: Cthulhu RTA v2 [Pre-Order] - Smog Distro
Great post. Looking forward to hearing how she performs. Cheers @Deadkaiser! [emoji3]just got minelooks great!! who have posted it earlier but my PC stopped booting windows
build quality 8/10
exterior finish is great 10/10 and all the primary threads are perfect. one or 2 of the internal threads on mine is not perfect and the deck has a few scratches and is a little off center on the single coil deck. the duel coil deck is vertically crocked on mine (Positive post is leaning in might be by design) (thus the -2)
The whole thing came with a generous layer of machine oil on it (lol) but thats not a biggy for me always clean my stuff first anyway.
some suggestion for everyone else who gets this RTA, Do no pour out your spare bag you will spend the next 15min looking for the smallest grub screws in the world on your floor and you need the 510 screw left in to take it apart separate the chimney from the deck first.
To answer some previous questions on the thread
1. No there are no black tank orings
2. No 100% sure what you mean by ears next to the screws but if your referring to the heighten area of the deck on either side of the screws on the single deck then yes there still there it has 'ears' not just a flat deck like the KF4
I'll post some photos once its built.... happy to answer any Questions
Regarding the dual coil deck, the leaning positive pin does look janky...a sign of questionable craftsmanship. I'm sure that is not by design because neither of the posts should look like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It seems the peek insulator(?) underneath the positive post screw holes is not sized correctly (over-sized) which is causing the lean. The post holes appear to be smaller than those shown in their photos. All of this leaves me disappointed somewhat but will hold my judgement until I receive mine.just got minelooks great!! who have posted it earlier but my PC stopped booting windows

The single coil deck appears to be ok although the positive post does look like it is off-centered a bit. Are you able to re-position/straighten it?
