Has anyone found a wicking method able to hold chain vaping at 65+ watts?

Use the Scottish roll method for, inserting your wick in the coil and trim it down afterwards but don't stuff too much wick in the juice channels. You need to keep that juice flowing to the wick so it doesn't dry out.

Some folks have mentioned leaking problems with the Cthulhu. I have never had even a little bit of leaking with various coils and wicking configurations. I'd be interested to know what conditions have led to leaking if anyone has managed to figure out what the problem was.

No leaks here, but I haven't filled it since it put in the dual coil....

On the dual deck, wow.... Went with the packaged coils and my 4 day old DIY that's like 18% absinthe and 5% horehound, clouds for days.... Pretty sure it looks like there's a fire in bck of the house looking from the front....

what resistance did the factory coils give you? my tank will get here tomorrow and was wondering if i should make my own coils for its first build.

Honestly, I didn't check them.... The packaged coils that came with the v1 came to 0.3 and these v2 coils looked to have another wrap or two, going from memory, so RAWR's 0.4 makes sense....
I can say its not as warm as the packaged v1 coils, also....

So, it turns out you can remove the inner ring of the juice control and everything else works just fine! it didn't bother me much but I took it out just for the sake of ease.
I accidentally discovered that yesterday too. After experimenting with a different build, I didn't notice I left it off until a couple of hours later when I noticed it hiding underneath a paper towel.

I'm Impressed:thumb:. After cleaning last night I went ahead this evening and assembled the single coil deck with a 30g twisted 'UD' Kanthal A-1 coil, 7 wraps, 3mm, 1.5 Ohms, 13 Watts, 4.4 volts. Wicks (KGD cut to 7mm width, then the ends thinned) tucked just to the bottom of juice wells, wick ring ON. If juice control ring set to Full On and Air Flow Closed Off, it's too airy for me, BUT, If juice control ring is closed down half a turn from Full Open then that tightens up the draw perfectly for me and still allows for enough juice flow (I didn't expect the juice control ring adjustment to effect the air flow, Surprised me ). Juiced it up (put in 5 mL measured, still some space left over) of Max VG Alien Visions Gryphon's Breath at 6mg. So Far, No Runs, No Drips, No Errors, Good Flavor. I'm happy:thumbs:, and will be ordering the Black version when it becomes available. I've also taken off the Original drip tip and put a Russian 91% styled on instead.

Are either of you noticing any leaking when top filling without the juice control ring? I don't close mine when filling and I'm not getting any leaks.
I have the juice control ring in but wide open. I've top filled multiple times without closing the juice control (it's too stiff to mess with) and have had no leaking with 50/50 PG/VG.

I put my ring back on after I realized I forgot to install it so I haven't tested it without it yet but plan to later, however @stormjib might be able to answer in the meantime.
