Strange, mine has absolutely no build quality issues, what's your serial no? Mine is 9xx (can't remember exactly) maybe the earlier batches had issues?
I don't think it really matters with these guys, some are good, some are ok, and some are just plain WTH happened here.

I would have to agree, it's the luck of the draw. When I picked mine up and started seeing some problems I was a little worried. Mine has been rock solid and performing real nice, so much so that I was thinking about a second one.

The juice flow control only gets used during filling, it's completely closed and once full the atty is turned upside down and completely opened. So far (knock on wood here) no leaking.

Mine came in great shape, no metal shards and no machine oil smell. If anything, my air flow control is too tight. My serial number is 0025.

My god, the velocity deck is awesome
It really is something, isn't it? I have 2 big ole 3mm coils in mine and you wouldn't tell by the draw. Opens the flow of the air up so the taste really does seem dripperish to me. I have 2 velocity rda's as well and love those, the pure ease of the coil installs as well.

Hey Guys; I wouldn't put the Bad Mouth on Cthulhu for a Bad one every now and then, We just have to expect that, Not Like It, but expect it. I've seen bad posts on just about EVERY RTA, RDA, Clearo, Box Mod, Tube Mod what have you. Chinese and American (Evolv), it doesn't seem to matter, or, can be avoided. Unfortunate as it is, That's Vapings "Luck Of The Draw" as someone just posted said. I think that Most of us are aware of this, but seems that some of the newer ones to vaping are not.

Man, I gotta figure out how to wick. Just wasted the last of my e juice. Came gushing out all over my lap.
i just stuff like half of the wicks worth into the little channel till it barely touches the bottom of the juice channel then cut the other half even with the deck and kind of form it into one if that makes sense? It works great for me with 80 VG

I have to watch what I do when wicking, I have found that if I work my juice control too much sometimes, then the Draw changes on me, that's when I take the deck off and I'll find that 1 of the ends of the wick is NOT all the way to the bottom of the wick channel and has popped up over the wicking ring, and I guess is letting the juice come up too far. If I just ignore it then after a while it will start to gurgle on me. Wicking with the wick ring can be a bit tricky I am finding out with this RTA. Maybe you're problem has something to do with that ? A wicking ring is a New wrinkle I have yet to get all ironed out with this.
