Ya know crompers, as I have seen people here on ECF, trying to explain to someone how to wick something, and it goes from Funny to Hilarious, from Pitiful to What The (?). Pictures will get people just so far, and sometimes that's just far enough, for me though,,,,,,,, I need Numbers and only Numbers

, that's just how I'm wired. I simply could not get on with Cotton Balls

, people would post to "Wick it Chunky". HUH, what's That ??? Others would post "Use enough but not too much". HUH, what do you mean not too much ??? Still others would post "Less is More With Cotton". I didn't post much back then, but I did read a thread from page 1 all the way to the end of the thread, just so I wouldn't come in on the middle of the conversation and miss an important point in wicking that would make ALL The Difference, but No Joy at All. I have seen pic's of the absolutely Nastiest looking coils I have ever seen, posted here on these ECF forums, but the person said that they were having the best vape of their entire life, and I still see pic's of wicking that I wish were in my RTA (but I'm Not That Good to Replicate it yet) and the person is complaining of Dry Hits. Wicking is a Royal Pain In The ... (well you know), but I believe wicking is why some people either Love or Hate certain Atty's. It's the Atty (and the Juice VG/PG) that determines the wicking , not US. That's my belief anyways. You're on the right Thread to solve your Cthulhu V2 wicking problems, just keep at it and ask and someone here will try their best to help you out. When you finally figure it out, you'll go "Bloody Hell, that was easy enough". It's only easy once you learn how to do it, and sometimes, that takes time. Good luck crompers.
BTW: When I switched to Organic Cotton Pads that I could measure

, I started experimenting with different mm widths in different coil ID's I finally learned how to do it

. For a 3mm coil ID I use a 7mm or 8mm wide strip of cotton pad and I'm done (Good for up to at least 25 Watts, I haven't taken it up any farther). Read back for my full wicking SOP in my Cthulhu V2 if you're interested, it might Help. Cotton Balls are for taking off makeup, and I don't roll that way.
