Actually, a coarse knurling wouldn't be a bad idea for this, and probably look kinda cool too.
I like that Idea. Any kind of factory knurling would be a help, even in my case it would be helpful.
Agreed. My Cthulhu is my go to all day tank, hands down. When you get the wicking just right, it's so damned great.
Thing I like about this tank the most. I have not once struggled with the wicking.

I just got an email from Jeff @ Smog, my "Black" Cthulhu V2 just shipped. My order date was 10-01-15 BTW. 
Put a dab of juice on the rubber orings and they won't lock up on you.

Not me. I haven't even got to the Dual coil deck yet, been mess'in around with DIY mixing for the last week or so. Still, as I type this, have not gotten my "Black" V2 from Jeff yet in the mail. I would have hoped that SOME ONE would be experimenting with that Triple Coil Deck and report back here to us Tony.
You're right Tony, my bad. It went up for pre-order on the 28th of Oct. and is still up for pre-order sale on Smog's web site with NO Notice Yet as to any delivery date.
Guess I just lost track on that item and assumed that they had been delivered, it seems so long ago that the Triple Coil Deck went up for pre-order.
That said, I haven't checked VaporDNA to see if they might have gotten some in ahead of Smog's Group Buy's.
I'll check on that later though, I have to lay down for a bit first, Old People ya know.

I bought this a while back, to use as a single coil atty. Put about 100ml of juice through it to give it a fair chance... Unimpressed, piece of junk..boxed it back up, stowed it away.
I thought I'd have another go this evening, with the dual coil deck... Well shocked, it's a different atty, a little beast, lovin it! Juice flow ring moves too, couldn't get it to budge on single deck, better for refills.

This (I think at least) can only be attributed to the spotty QC of China. That's why we can't use blanket assessments when dealing with these things, as one can be a total piece of junk (and not even work at all, 
like your single coil deck) and the next in the series can be the best RTA we have ever had the pleasure to handle. I still think that some of the problem (at least) stems from the factory not changing their cutting and molding tooling till it is way out of spec. hence the differing quality on the consumer end from piece to piece, and this goes for RTA's, RDA'a, Clearo's, Device's (mod's 510 threading), and even the circuit boards to some extent. We all fight (and suffer) through this together from what I have read here on ECF. Like a famous poet once said "I'm pull'in for ya, we're all in this together". I AM glad that you got something to work for ya though Face. 
For those of you who are bottom filling, how are you getting juice through the tiny slits on the bottom of the tank? Would really prefer to bottom fill for juice capacity and leak-free filling...can't figure it out for the life of me. Do I just need to buy some smaller guage blunt tip needles?
I've done that also. I've used a 20g blunt tip needle and syringe at times, just to see if it could be done. It works, but is slow even with 50/50 mix, a heavy VG probably would be a real pain to do that way, but I have also used a pointy plastic tip on a HDPE plastic e-juice bottle with more success even though It wouldn't fit into the small slots on the bottom of the tank, the juice never did over flow and cause a mess, and was faster than a 20g needle and syringe. Either filling from the top, or the bottom, on this tank works good for me. Give me a few minutes to find you a link for plastic e-juice bottle tips.
These are what I use. I was beginning to think I would never find the blasted things, and I couldn't remember what they were called either.
