Ola, TimManufacturing quality was a problem early on with the V1 also. Good advise, IMO.

Thanks, I'm still at about 4-5ml per day myself. I got my "Black" V2 up and running. The airflow control ring is quite a bit tighter to turn than on my S.S. one. Everything else is about the same as on my Stainless version. I'm using the single coil deck on the "Black" instead of the Dual like I had wanted to originally. Right now I'm fighting a bout of High Blood Pressure and don't want the added nic from a dual coil setup. I even dropped down from 6mg/ml on my nic to 3mg/ml and 4mg/ml to see if that helps and I can still get some kind of TH out of this. This Cthulhu V2 seems to be a bit more efficient of a Nic delivery system than even my Lemo's are, that I do believe
. Now that I got used to my Cthulhu V2 (setting it up, filling, the juice control ring and airflow control ring) I'm starting to feel like it is an easier rta for me than even my Beloved Lemo's
are. "Oh, The Horror of It All"
, I didn't think I would ever feel that way about any other rta, That's why I have (3) Lemo V1's, (2) Lemo Drops, (3) Lemo V2's, (8) Lemo's all together. I have that "Cheating On My Spouse" type feeling I hear some talk about
. But
I do like the Cthulhu V2 that much
.
My experiences pretty much is the same as you. I received a black one, works great once I figured it out. Air flow ring works nicely and is pretty tight plus gives me easy more air flow than I could ever want, the juice control ring is pretty hard to use but taking it off the mod helps a lot. I too never thought I would find another rta that worked as good as my lemo's, but it's almost hard to go back to them, I need another Cthulhu! Being able to access the coil without draining it has been a breeze and is my favorite thing about this tank. I tried the dual coil and its nice and gets good flavor but eh not for me, I find the single coil deck works great and has to be the easiest deck to set a coil in. Right now I'm running SS 316l, 1ohm ,15.5J 230f on TI mode, works beautifully. Thanks all for the fantastic info on this product!
They have a v2 of their Hastur RDA coming out, a RDTA, and are working on a DNA200 mod.Update: The Juice Flow Control Ring on my Stainless V2 that I received in Sept. has gotten very much improved as far as loosening up goes and is "No Big Deal" to operate now. I didn't notice that, until I received my "Black" version. Even after stripping the "Black" version down, Ultra-Sonic washing it 3 times (24 min. with a couple drops of dish soap), re-assembling and lubing the o-rings up, juice it and vaping with it for the first couple tank fulls I now remember just how tight my Stainless V2 was when I received It. At least with my Stainless version it has taken almost 2 months of daily use, repeated break-downs & cleanings for it to break-in so that it is pretty easy to operate (juice flow control ring). The ease of filling (I do take mine Off my Mod to fill), the ability to re-wick without draining my tank and NO Leaking/Flooding on re-fills is Pretty Sweet. The Lemo's are pretty easy to coil, but this Cthulhu V2 is a notch easier than that even. I wonder what Cthulhumods has up their sleeve for the future ??
