yeah I asked on the facebook page, just got a smiley face, so i'm accepting it as a challenge, a puzzle...i did get a build to work, but it wasn't very good, and I'm sure it was wrong....will try again on monday, probably too busy this weekend. my kid and her baby are coming for their first visit here, should be fun. he is almost two.
Has anyone here wicked this tank using rayon, and if so can you post
some pictures of it. I just picked one of these tanks up and want to
try it with rayon. Thanks everyone for your help. Also I will be vaping
50/50 juice and wonder if I can get away with not using the juice
control ring because it's a real pain in the asssss.

I've been using rayon with mine, not now so not picture. It works good but I like cotton more. As for the juice ring, I've removed the inner part in my three Cthulhu after the first week of use and never really remember about it until reading your post. I want 100% liquid straight to the wicking, so there's no use for them in my vaping style.Has anyone here wicked this tank using rayon, and if so can you post

For those of you looking for good attys out there, please allow me to name a couple of them: Mutation and Crius. Great devices. Specially the OBS Crius, for me, a Cthulhu simplified. Big airflow holes, velocity style post deck, the chamber rotates over the post desk so you can visually control the juice flow, top-side filling. And most important, easy (EASY!!!) to build and wick.
I'm having posting issues this morn'in it seems. I checked out the OBS Crius (Updated Version) and while it's a nice looking RTA, it's dual coil, and I like single coil RTA's (I don't need the extra Nic from a dual coil setup). Thanks for the Heads Up though Yerba.
A smiley face, That's It ?? A lot of help there, geeze. Here's a stab in the dark from me on this. Try wicking it like a Genesis maybe ? With you're coil already installed, wick it like normal (cotton Thru the coil) except cut you're cotton off about 1-2mm above the top of the coil and the bottom of the coil have the cotton run out of the juice hole and cut it flush with the opening ?? Make any sense to you ? That is, after you have fun with you're family for a while, Family Always First.
I can visualize your suggestion but it won't work...i know the wicking has to be external, one of the few facts that I do know. I got the deck for free, and consider that Cthulhu is challenging me to figure it out, haha. After all, Cthulhu is the Dark Lord, no sense in expecting easy... 
I like the fact that I'm left on my own with it, actually...i have a high frustration tolerance and enjoy challenges...plus it makes me feel special, or will, when i get it figured out. probably won't be until late monday until i can play with it some more.

Ha ha, that's good to know. I love my Lemo 2s a lot and modified one of them for better juice flow but I have to admit that I like my Billow 2 just as much and others, as well. Guess I'm not as loyal as you. Or maybe "variety is the spice of life" should be my motto. As well as, "life is a smorgasbord".

For those that have purchases in at SmogDistro.com: I was just over on the site where he is 95% of the time and it looks like they are concerned for his safety more than their purchases (and people over there tend to be rather "Snarky" and "Rude" and "Quick Tempered" a lot more so than on this site). That site is a convoluted mess for me to make heads or tails of, I've been over there trying to navigate around (this without having an account of my own) and just gathered snippets of information about Jeff's (Smogdistro.com is a 1 man operation) status, and it seems that several of his "friends and acquaintances" that have been in contact with him are concerned for his well being, but not their purchases as they have posted that "He is having some Very Pressing Personal Issues". He has always treated me 100% in the several times I have done business and corresponded with him. His website (Smogdistro.com) is down, his Twitter account is down also. That's all I can gather at this time, Wish I could shed more light folks (I was trying to read the Tea Leaves for you). If you have purchased some goods and are waiting for shipment (I'm right there with you) I don't know what to tell you (I did my purchase thru PayPal so am not worried too much about that for now). I just don't know when he will be back up and running again or when we can expect our orders to be mailed out to us.

You're right storm, external wicking due to the airflow, I missed that part for some reason. I'm not the sharpest pencil in the box today
. I know that you will get it, for sure. Have a good weekend Partner. I feel fortunate that I got my Black Cthulhu V2 in last Saturday from SmogDistro. I preordered back in late October and while it took awhile to come in, Jeff was really nice leaving weekly updates about the tanks status. I can recall in Mid November Jeff had his printer go out on him so that delayed things for a week or so and then also the Cthulhu's had to be reinspected or something about QC which is good I would rather have a product that is going to hold up and work as advertised. If you look on his SmogDistro Reddit page he does his very best to keep everyone in the loop. Wish Jeff the best hope he gets pass this rough patch, and to those who have orders they are concerned about dont sweat it I waited over a month for my Cthulhu... When he gets back on his feet he'll send the orders out in the order they were received.
In regards to the Cthulhu V2 I have had this thing for over a week and just opened it and did my first build! (been enjoying the Aromamizer also)
Went with a Single Coil(huge 4mm!) 0.7 Ohm, 7 Wraps of 24G Kanthal.... I was shooting for 0.5 ohm but whatever lol next time... I got a huge piece of Rayon in this monster coil and did my best to trim the tails as thin as possible. Was a bit concerned at first because there was some leaking coming from the adjustable air holes but it seems right after I took about 4-5 puffs the leaking has subsided(lets hope anyway!) Really dont want another OBS Crius on my hands that tank is just sitting in the drawer right now because my first build it just wouldnt stop leaking.... need to give that another crack soon with a cooler head but one thing I can say is this Cthulhu with a single coil is amazing and hits really hard...I actually coughed my very first hit wasnt expecting that much vapor!
In regards to the tricoil vertical deck, I'm happy to report that I've solved it, at least to the best of my current understanding. The build I have in it vapes pretty well but the airflow is too restricted for my liking so I'll be rebuilding it again today. I'm not going to post the solution until Cthulhu does, but basically if you look at a premade quad coil for the tfv4 or whatever it's called...the tricoil is similar.
Gonna tease us, Huh. As far as Cthulhumods putting up a solution on their website, I got a feel'in that it will be a while.
