I use rayon exclusively in all my tanks and drippers and I was having problems with my V2 always being wet at the bottom. I was using the juice control closed to fill and all the way open to vape since my juice is 70 vg. I tried using it half way closed to vape and still had the same problem to the point that I stopped using it for a while. I decided to try using it with the juice control open only 1 1/2 turns and for the last 2 days it has stayed dry and I'm not getting any dry hits. I still hate the juice control, but at least now I can enjoy vaping my Cthulhu again.

Diameter is 2, 28 gauge Kanthal, Rayon wick. :vapor:

Thanks Ill try a 2mm coil.... maybe the 4mm was so wide that it was clogging things up...(dunno lol out of my depth a little here but Ill figure it out eventually)

I dont have any 28G Kanthal but I have 26G and 24G Kanthal that would probably do. Also have some 28G 316L Stainless Steel as well as these prebuilt 0.5 Ohm Nichrome Coils somebody gave me(24G Ni60 Coils but I think they are 3mm)

My biggest issue lately has been wicking... Im just like in a slump or something LOL I have had this nasty cold for the past week or longer and am having issues wicking things properly...(lot of dry hits) just me being lazy probably cuz not feeling 100 percent but I know with Rayon you have to be pretty much spot on or your in for some harsh dry hits! I have some KGD cotton and Drago Egyptian cotton as well thats a little more forgiving if you dont do the best job wicking, but my favorite is definitely Rayon it just soaks up the most juice and also chucks vapor more than the expensive organic cottons.

So where does one find a replacement glass for this? I like the frosted one But I just cracked mine pretty bad. Thanks
From a simple side by side comparison, it looks to be the same size as the Subtank mini glass, which are available in different colors, but I've never come across frosted like the cthulhu. Now I didnt break out the caliper, but I did put the two tanks end to end and inner diameters were exactly the same as well as length.

Checked the OD of the glass for the STM and it measured 22.05mm; the Cthulhu V2 measured 22.04mm for the clear glass and 21.94mm for the frosted glass. They're both full of juice so I didn't check the length, but as @ojmalik stated, they appear to be the exact same in length.

You can get custom designs and frosted glass here for the subtank and the dimensions seem close enough to work with the Cthulhu. I've ordered several for ST+ and they were fine.

Just got the Cthulhu V2 today, I would say so far it's right up there with the Aromamizer, and slightly beats the Bellus, Crius, and Mutation (all good tanks, though).
Building is a breeze on this thing with the velocity deck. Ive seen a lot of reports about the afc being too loose and the juice flow too tight. They both work fine on this one.
Not as much airflow as the Aromamizer, but it's enough for me.
Don't know if it leaks when refilling, haven't had to yet, I will soon.
All in all I'm very happy with it, I'll probably get another one, after I find a genuine black Aromamizer.

The clone black ones on eBay are not of the same quality as an original. Threads are not as smooth, deck seems to be smaller ( at least the deck on the 3 ml clone is smaller than the one on my original 6ml), fill holes are smaller (so small I have to fill it with a needle tip), velocity deck has holes on the inside wall of the post which makes it easier to accidentally snap the wires when tightening them which could cause a problem when building with nickel. Overall, it's just not as good, don't get me wrong, it's not a horrible clone, but I'd rather pay a few more dollars to get another original in black when they come out.

I mean it doesn't leak and it can keep up with the wicking, so it does work. Flavor and vapor production seem to be the same.

Subtank Mini Glass fit's nicely with the standard O-rings. I've used it on all three of my tanks without leaks.

Buy two get one free, just give them the color in the comments at checkout.
