Yeah, all you would need is a few refilling Syringes and a unmarked bottle or two of e-liquid.

And when the cop asks for your license, hand him one like this...

He or She would understand completely LOL

Unless you like moderated posts and ECF sanctions you folks should probably cool it with all the direct references to illegal activity and the tools used to perpetrate said activities.

Jus' sayin'.

Are you serious? They can't even be referenced? Dude, not one person said they were DOING that type of activity or have even EVER done it, period. I'm kind of offended if that was even INFERRED by you.

Just because someone knows the term doesn't know mean do it :glare:.....and the reality is, an e-cig DOES look like one.

Jus' sayin'.;)

Uh, yeah, I'm serious, and any inference wasn't mine, but the reader's. I implied nothing but clearly inferences were made.

Regardless of what looks like what, discussions of that nature are AGAINST the rules. Not my rules; ECF rules. Members can choose to follow them or not but there are consequences and if any of you suffer them, just know that you were given fair warning from a friendly neighbor before a Moderator issued a warning or infraction.

Rather than chastise me trying to help you and others, I suggest you all read this instead:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/sticky-forum/70953-ecf-forum-rules-new-members-read.html

Specifically the part that reads:

__________________________________________________ __________________
NUMBER TWO:
The rule against talking about recreation drugs tends to reap a few warnings and infractions.
To explain why this rule exists is best described in post 28 of this thread:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/69061-police-ourselves-3.html

I have zero tolerance for this and posts with sexual content and racial remarks. No ifs, ands, or buts about it, I will enforce these rules each and every time.
__________________________________________________ __________________

And then I suggest anyone who still doesn't get it navigate to post # 28 of the referenced thread as advised to better understand the realities behind the rules.

BTW – Awhile back I brought up the concept of “Clingy” type ECF window stickers for the ECF Store. It would be nice to be pulled over and when the cop asked you what you are smoking, you tell him it’s an e-Cigarette and point at the window sticker.

I've got 3 taped to the back window of my truck!

I had a cop question me in NYC when I was vaping my Tornado walking through Time Square. He was actually kind of cool though. His wife was a smoker so I actually brought up the Totally Wicked site on my I-Phone and was showing him. He said it looked too much like a crack pipe for him not to stop me. My response was "Aren't all crack pipes glass??" lol.

Another time I was driving and dripping and I guess I changed lanes without signaling and I got pulled over. I had a 5ML bottle of Dekang on my passenger seat. I explained to the officer what it was. He was also pretty cool about it.

I vape exclusive on my Tekk and while the guys at the office call it my crack pipe, haven't had a second look from anyone. The cops in Utah don't pull anyone over for anything (have seen folks run red lights in front of one with no problem) so the odds they would do anything with a PV is rare.

Been a little more concerned about this after switching out to an e-power and map tank mod... Cause those see through 5ml mods really do look a tad suspect I think... Most of the analogue work coworkers have made remarks about it, though I've also had the rather endearing "that looks like the caterpillar from alice in wonderland!" comments too (my purple swirly cherry vapes drip tip no doubt adds to the effect). I tend not to really use that in public too much, preferring a more discreet eGo for public vaping.

Nobody is encouraging the use of anything illegal here. Nobody is asking questions about it, or talking about if/how it could be done.

We are discussing the public perception (both cops, and general public) that some people have when they see PV's. The bigger mods in particular, but juices and reloading syringes can make that perception worse. Since we have to live with that public perception, it seems reasonable to discuss it.

The actual moderators, the people that enforce those rules, don't seem to have any problem with the thread. They haven't, as best I can tell, locked the thread away out of sight, or kicked any of us off the boards, or even posted a warning message.

It appears that you are the only person complaining about it.

Oddly enough, I vape on box mods in my car all the time. Never been pulled over. I vaped on it walking by a cop that was parked in the park one day. He didn't bat an eye. I actually have a DOD on order and I'll use it too. I guess it helps being an out of shape guy over 50. No one thinks I'd be crazy enough to be smoking um "herbs" in that public a fashion. :)

Really the only way to stop incidents like this is for more people to do it so law enforcement is familiar with it. I don't blame them a bit for not knowing. Smoking "herbs" is probably a lot more prevalent.

I, sadly, was forced to hang for a bit with a shady character from Cali's PB who was quite happy to inform me that there are "special" juices people vape. Obviously, this is not what e-cigs are for, but since people do this you may be pulled over or questioned with some real validity by police officers. I'm posting this so you all know... Leave it to shady scumbags to ruin it for all :(... Just because people on the ECF (like me) are doing the right things does not mean everyone is so don't get mad if officer Bob asks you some questions; you can't tell it's Johnson Creek choc truffle through a car window...

Hah, I'm actually quite apprehensive about something like this happening to me. I know nothing will come of it, but I would rather not be harassed in the first place. ;)

I was also very concerned about passing through TSA this past weekend on a trip north with my (silver) ProVari in my carry-on bag. It does look dangerously passable for some kind of detonator. I didn't catch any flack for it though. I suppose with the sheer amount of people that pass through Orlando International they've been exposed to such things - even though I have yet to encounter another vaper other than my own circle of friends.

When I've been refilling my ego T tanks, drop by drop, I've often thought "A cop is going to see me and want to know what's going on". Some people use needles to refill cartomizers, and I'm pretty sure a cop finding a small vial of fluid and a needle is going to go nuts.

Even just taking a hit while driving down the road, I can easily imagine a cop seeing it, thinking "That isn't a cigarette, must be some kind of ....".

I don't know any way around it, for now, but over time, hopefully there will be more people vaping, and more people (cops included) will know at least the basics.

Exactly. If I were a cop, I'd think the same exact thing.
