The dark truth behind e cigarettes is.. it is never going to be accepted or tolerated.Picture if you will we(vapers) grow in huge numbers now picture in crowded restaurant about 50 or so vaping away with plums of vapor rising up you think they are going to just say its harmless vapor? no they are not! They will turn around and walk out because it looks like smoke and people are scared to death of it.They have convinced people that second hand smoke kills. And yes we can have strength in numbers but it will be are own undoing. You can look for the spooks to sabatoge this industry the same way they did every thing else to gain control. If they can't find anything wrong with it they will invent it.The mods will probably delete this post because it is so negative But I see the same thing that happened to smoking is happening to vaping.I will continue to support cassa and this forum and anything else vape related but in the end we are going to lose. end of rant

These are mean-spirited times (said the child of the 60s). It goes beyond vaping. Any behavior can be targeted by a person or group with an axe to grind and too much time on their hands ...

Personally, I'm weary of trying to educate the willfully ignorant. They will always seize an opportunity to inflate their self-worth by demonizing the actions of others ...

I do hope that vaping is eventually seen as what it is, a healthier alternative to smoking without any adverse effects on the non-vaping public. But I do fear that is wildly optimistic ...

If 50 people gather in a restaurant and fog the place up without consideration of their fellow diners, I fully expect the restaurant staff to do something about it.

People need to stop thinking that vaping gives them the right to vape anywhere that they please without considering their actions. It's one of my major pet peeves in that people don't think about the possible repercussions of their actions. If we all are courteous when out in public and stop carrying that shoulder chip around, I think we'd see a greater acceptance in the long run.

People need to stop being belligerent when they're out in public, and stop forcing the issue. Public perception IS everything when it comes to vaping and those that refuse to use common sense are hurting the cause more than helping it.

Greetings ECF'rs,

Human History has PROVEN that "difference" is cause for War.
We need to stop our hypocrisy. Public places should (I believe) stay "Public Places." (meaning...)
We cannot go into a Public Place (i.e. : libraries, restaurants, stores...etc) and think it is our own space, and ours alone.
We cannot walk around thinking we can make up our own rules of living.
Education is our best weapon against Fear.
The Prohibition... or legalizing of anything is simply another 'Resource Depriving' machine. (just my opinion)
Everyone has to care...

Considerate
Accepting
Respectful
Educate
...to create a better world.

Those of you worrying about where and when we will be allowed to vape should realize that is only a secondary issue.
The primary issue is to what extent forthcoming regulations will alter the vaping landscape as we know it.

Yea, DC2 nailed it. Where you can vape is so far in second place compared to what you can vape it's not funny. I'll trade vaping location freedom for freedom to vape what I want with what I want any day. Do I want both? Rhetorical. Do I expect both in the next few years? Nope.
But we have to keep fighting the "where and when" battle because that strengthens us and brings us together while sharpening our approach for the main battle.
Every time we fight a vaping-is-smoking ban, we expose our opponents weaknesses, hone our arguments, and educate people along the way.

I'm right there with you. Just the other day I was shopping at wallyworld and there I saw it, the one thing that would ruin it for all of us vapers. There was a girl vaping in the building. How about a little common sense. Vaping is new and people still think an e-cig is a cigarette.

Vape to quit analogs. Don't be vaping just so you can "smoke" wherever you want. Do it for your health, not in spite.
