Great news MaryKay, just keep hanging in there.
Now we need to figure out how to combine the two and we'll be all set!![]()
That's a plan! If we can get it to look like a nicostick with tubes..cool! Boy talk about setting off the alarms at the airport. I am NOT explaining..
Oh! Angels, I mentioned in another thread in general E-smoking, That you could be called the Borg Queen! I'll just be one of the many borgs..
I had a friend die of uncontrolled diabetes back in the 70's. She tried but back then so many Doctors treated it as YOUR problem. They said when the pills didn't work it was because you didn't follow orders.
She was never even told to test or do insulin. She went into shock and died.
I am glad I didn't have to do the big needles because I wouldn't have done it. You guys who paved the way for us are my hero's. Thank you for posting and putting my petty problems in perpective.
Note! I was not being sarcastic! After reading this board I am thankful my biggest problem is dealing with testing and little tiny needles.
Why wouldn't I know who you are? You post in here and Women's as well as the board. I am not senile..cenile..old.
O.K. I figured it out..Borg Queen! I blew your cover in public! LOL What I wanna know is how you reduced all those tubes down to one insulin pump as your 'cover".
Resistance is futile!
I am cennile..
MaryKay, can you use glucose tablets when you dip too low? I'm type 2 on Metformin. My A1C was 7.8 at it's highest, which isn't too bad, but it was steadily going up, up, up. I think my highest sugar test was 140 something. I started on low carb last year and my weight and A1C dropped steadily and my readings were below 100. Last checkup A1C was 5.25. My sister is insulin dependent and had readings in the 500's. She went on a low carb diet and was able to get off insulin. Has anyone else had any experience with low carb?
