Do any veteran vapers still like clearos?

these are the best ce's i've tried so far, price is a little inhibitive though

5pc New CE2 XL clearomizers for 510/eGo

I don't think $9 for 5 is that bad.

BTW - I'm not sure why it took MiT/RS over a Year to understand that the Black Rubber Seals and Mouth Pieces that came with Older CE2's tatsed like R185/70 Tire.

Did you notice the Mouth Piece I use in that One Piece Mouth Piece mod Above. There Pre Rev"4" Mouth Pices back when they were White.

The Black ones Taste Terible.

I have been vaping for just over a week and I already dislike clearomizers. I have the rebuildable CE4 clearos and the flavor just isn't nearly as good as my dual coil tank cartomizer. Plus the wick just doesn't work all that well. I get way too many dry hits if I don't make sure to keep the unit tipped on it's side. Yet I have gone through 3 tanks worth on my DCT and haven't gotten a single dry hit. I have definitely moved on from clearos. I got a LR306 Cisco on order as well. I definitely do not think I will be going back to clearomizers any time soon.

! am a 2 year vaper and yes, I still like my Stardusts and my replaceable coil Kanger T2's. The trick is you gotta clean them! I've had some last for 3 months or more with regular cleaning (soak in water, let thoroughly dry, then dry burn 5 or six times, blowing out the crud after each dry burn).

I even rebuild the replaceable coils! As long the tube isn't cracked and leaking, they can be used forever! As a side note, I even replaced one leaking Kanger tube with a stainless steel tube and this will last a lifetime.

The Kanger 2 are good, i am ordering the new vision 2 this week. Clearomizers are the way to go. Just be sure you get them rebuildable. About the only problem I have run into is a tank cracking and that was my fault. You cab buy extra tanks and only the tanks to have as spares. The rebuilable is awesome, if a wick breaks or a coil malfunctions. Just take it apart and slap in a new coil and wick. If the tank cracks, just pull out a spare tank and off to the races.

@ Awkwardly Awesome and anyone else getting dry hits from clearomizers. You might need to fluff the wicks. I have a Kanger T2 that wasn't wicking one of my juices very well. After cleaning the coil i unraveled each little wick that is twisted like a rope. This worked really well and no more dry hits with that juice. Unfortunately this is easiest on the clearo's that have removable coils, because the ones that don't remove you just cant get in there very well to do this mod.

I never dripped and I can't see why anyone would want to drip. Looks like too much work???

I drip on a 306 when I need a shot of high nic fast. Or to try a new flavor I'm not sure I'm going to like. But it's too much of a hassle, although the flavor is amazing. I'd really give a shot to the REOs, I still have to make up my mind.

Flay me alive, but I'm not impressed with my Vivi Nova. I use it, but... I'm not impressed. It has to be my juice, I think. Why is butterscotch such a hard flavor to reproduce? I BARELY eek flavor out of my DCT cartotank. I only get hints of butterscotch on the after-hit. I am a very, very sad vaper. Why does my favorite flavor have to suck big-time for vaping?!

What does your Butterscotch taste Best in?

And what ohms and volts was your Vivi Nova?

All the facts:

DRIPPING: 1.8 ohm low resistance genuine Joyetech atomizers fired at 3.7 to 4.2 volts.

VIVI NOVA: My butterscotch blew all my heads except the 2.8 ohm head. Upon investigation, the coils on my 1.8 and 2.4 ohm attys were black, as were the wicks. Charred. Fired the 1.8 at 3.2, got nothing, then 3.7. Burned out within 2 days. Tried the 2.4 at 4.0 v and 4.5 v, burnt that atty. 70/30 pg/vg mix, 2.4 mg nicotine. Managed to resurrect the 2.8 head and vape at 4.5 or lower. Works but makes my butterscotch taste... not like butterscotch.

My juice tastes best in the DCT 3.5 ml carto tank with 1 hole punched 2.0 ohm single coil cartos. But even then, I still get hints of filler. Using SmokTech cartos. I have yet, after two months of discovering my all-day, perfectly delicious vape, to find a delivery device that actually gives me a true butterscotch flavor.

I haven't had better flavor than this... Dream Rebuildable BT801 (Fatty V2 Clone). It's a dripper, rebuildable with adjustable air flow. If you don't like your juice with this than it's the juice, on a stock coil. In the CoOp it cost a whopping $3.49 each. Put it on a twist or other vv and you will dial in your perfect vape. I may start carrying a bottle around, it's that good.

O have been vaping almost a year so I am not a veteran but have been vaping a while and have tried just about everything out there as far as atties. cartos clearos ect. and have never found a clearo that worked well enough that I would buy them again. Maybe if I had no other options but there are just so many things that work better. if you haven't tried genesis atties you definitely should give them a try. That is mostly what i use now as well as Vapage Hybrid atties still on a VV Reo, and that is about it. If you can get a genesis and wrap a coil you will never look back.

Oh, I found my preferred gadget, the DCT carto tank. I wish it would have something else other than "DCT" before it, because DCT means "dual coil tank", and I would humbly suggest going with a single coil (they are available). My reasons: dual coils tend to drain my battery twice as quick, and they burn too hot. Taste is definitely different. But then again, I'm vaping butterscotch, which is notoriously known for being a muted flavor in the first place. I'm still a little salty knowing that my favorite juice flavor doesn't work well with cartos and ViVi Novas. And dripping, while delicious, can be a pain.

Hey Rocket, I use SMOK Dual Coil Cartomizers exclusively now, but am always on the lookout for something better.

When you say "Carto Tank", are you punching the cartomizer and then placing it inside the tank? I've never modded anything, but if the flavor is that much better, I might give it a shot.

Where do you buy your supplies for putting that together?

I already tried that. It helped but the flavor consistency just isn't there unless I keep it mostly full or tilt it to make sure the wicks have plenty of juice at the coil. I am not saying clearomizers are garbage, they just aren't for me. I like something that I can just fill and use (without needing to worry about tipping and what not) and occasionally replace/rebuild. Right now, dual coil tank cartos do that for me.

But I do highly recommend clearomizers to new people. I may be new myself but these seem like the best route to go for a new person. For the most part, I would say my tastes/needs evolve much faster than most people.

What is your liquid type, PG/VG? If its too thick, it won't wick well in clearo's. I use 100% PG that is very thin(Liquidy).
