I have no "plans" to quit vaping. Nor do I have plans to quit drinking coffee. But, I'm not opposed to quitting either one, down the road if it pleases me in the future. I presently feel that quitting vaping (16 months in) would be much easier for me to do than quitting cigarettes would have been. I don't feel that I am as strongly addicted to nicotine now as I was as a cigarette smoker.

I think the saying goes "They can have my PV when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers". :) I don't function well without my nicotine, unconscious self medication I guess but I'll continue to vape as long as possible. Oddly enough though, my system does say I don't need as large a dosage as my mind thought it did. I've had to cut my nicotine back several times over the last year due to mild OD symptoms a few months into each lower strength. So much for the 'highly addictive' label, huh?

Quitting vaping much easier than quitting coffee... I'll kill over my coffee... well, mess with the ProVari and I'll probably beat you over the head with it... and it's quite heavy...

I'm guessing that most people on here see vaping as an alternative and not so much a tool to quit. I was telling a co-worker about vaping today and she said well maybe in time you can get off that thing and be able to switch to a nicotine inhaler. That was pretty funny actually :D Hell I haven't even quit analogs for that matter, although vaping as well sure beats spending $600 a month on them :) I've been addicted to nic for over 30 years though and for me at least I'm in the pry it from my cold dead hands if ye dare category, actually I want some vaping gear put in my coffin so I can still vape on the other side :D

I am planning to quit alltogether, eventually. I've done some attempts on quitting before, but then the smoking breaks at work have always come and made me want a cigarette. Unfortunately my collegues were always willing to help me with smokes, until I felt that had to go and buy a pack to be able to have something to share myself (don't want to be a moocher). I guess I should have brought a cake instead, because buying a pack always means returning to smoking again.

I am trying to get down to no nicotine, so that I can smoke the 0mg flavors when there's a party and I would otherwise smoke 20 cigs, and so that I can join my collegues in their smoking break and still have something to suck on.

I smoked for 20 years, then exclusively vaped for 2 months, then quit all Nic cold turkey for about 2 months. The reason I quit vaping was because the dependency aspect of it and all the various equipment issues were irritating to me.

I started smoking again last month so deiced to get back on vapor for the obvious reasons. I'm not smoking so that's the main thing I guess. To answer your question, yes i do intend to quit all Nic again at some point. Not exactly sure when

I had no intention of quitting - I just got an eGo Tank a couple of weeks ago to replace my ancient loong-totem e-cig which I used in movie theaters and airports and such, and the eGo was such a fulfilling vape that I just prefer it over cigs. Haven't had a nail in almost 2 weeks. So, after 30+ years of smoking (at least 20 of that 2+ packs a day), I now have no desire to smoke - only to vape. The transition was completely effortless.
