400$ a month smoking is so much!
Depending on how much they smoked a day, that's actually fairly low
I was a PAD smoker prior to vaping and the cheapest I'd found of Camels was $6.50/pack(5 euro?), so around $200 a month for me.
Get into Chicago proper and a pack could easily reach $12 each, totaling $360 per month

A vape shop near you
Outside of initial costs, If you use 6ml a day at 8 dollars (1.60 a day) for 30ml and need a replacement coil(?) for a kanger at 5 for 8 dollars (B&M prices) or 1.60 or so a piece divided again by 7 days or about .25 cents a day. A new clearo once every two weeks lets say. (6 dollars) or let us say .50 a day. Even toss in a few battery every 3 months at 30 dollars a piece. Roughly .33 cents a day.

So my faulty brain says, 1.60 + .25 + .50 + .33 = 2.68 a day. 6ml's a day is what 2 packs a day? Here that would be at least 5.50 a pack or 11.00 dollars a day.

Forgive me for my terrible math, but you get the idea. Saving 8 or so dollars a day or about 3k a year.

I set up 6 fun filled days in Vegas and spend less than that.

In the last week, I've spent as much as I would for a month of smoking. I also plan on spending a bit more at lunch today to grab another tank and some cartos. After that, I'm pretty well stocked for a while. So my "break even" point is around mid-May, around the time I'll have to grab some more cartos.

If I stick to cartos and liquid as needed, I'll definitely save money. If I keep getting little tweaks here and there, I'll stay at the break even point.

So far I've saved about $200 dollars. I could have saved much more but most lessons I've learned were done so by spending money. lol. I'm not made of money, actually quite the opposite, but I tend to spend more money on things than I have to. I try to buy most everything from a local b&m. The prices are fair and you can try anything before you buy it. Now I just wish I could learn to walk out with just juice.

I was spending $180 on cigs a month, the past two months I have spent ~ $300 on vape gear. I imagine that I will be doing the same for a couple more months until I have the things I think I want. I hope that soon I will get to a point where I can chill out on spending except when I need juice.. Honestly I could stop now, just don't want to yet...
