Smoking cost me at 1.5 pad 10 bucks a day, after my initial costs for gear and juice I'm now 10 days away from breaking even. My future short term costs should be around 15 bucks a week as compared to the 70 a week to smoke. I've enough gear to last me almost 2 years but probably longer, juice I've also stocked up on and have enough for about a year. But still gonna figure in my 15 buck a week average cost by years end I'm going to Jamaica.

So basically u don't have to spend lots but u can choose to. It's purely freewill

In 10 days from now I'll be saving 55 bucks a week or 220 bucks a month or 1320 bucks by years end. My trip.

Of course depending on where things go between now and then savings would be greater the longer I'm allowed to vape.

This industry is changing and evolving fast, I am glad we have a lot of "latest and greatest" things come out. Once the "guvment" gets involved it will be to expensive for companies to test and release products as they are doing now if they can at all. Granted nothing is really revolutionary but it is nice to see new products coming out often.

I did spend more on Ecigs the first year trying stuff plus bought 2. Provaris. But a Provari costs about as much as I spent on one month of cigs. Now I make all my own juice which consists of one main flavor I love. I also am making my cotton wicks and coils. I'm totally set in vaping for about 2 years with my nic stash, which only cost me $60 if you include the cost of the brown glass bottles I also bought, but I am only using 8 mg nic so it goes a lot further for me now. Yea, it's way cheaper than what I was spending on cigs.

If I dont make my own juice I will not save money, its gonna be more expensive then smoking because Im a chainvapor :)

I vape easily 10ml a day and that will cost me about 6 euros a day if I buy ready to vape juice, a pack of smokes is about 6 euros.

But! If I make my own juice and buying pg, vg, flavour it will cost me about 1 euro a day.

I also make my own coils with kanthal and wick.

But ofcourse there is a one time cost, when you buy all the stuff you need, ecigs, chargers, batterys, attys etc. etc.

If you want to save money, don't come to the forum very often and then you won't know about the latest, greatest, coolest thing and want to buy it. :p

For me, nah, I doubt I have saved one nickel yet. But, then again, I come here a lot. lol

EDIT: One last thought. I have decided to stop buying high dollar juices, with the exception of Pluid. :p I am going to make my own and maybe buy a few from a reasonably-priced supplier like Mt Baker Vapor. This should save me a ton of money.

i'm vaping for 7 month and it cost me more, but i think it's about filling the hole left by cigarette with always new stuff to test. If you buy e-liquids and cartomizers, just what you need i'm pretty shure you' ll spend less money than before! !

sorry for my english, i ll' try to do my best and coming to this forum gives me the oportunity to practice, feel free to correct me if i'm not understandable !

I am saving money. I can buy 50ml of juice from my favorite vendor for the cost of 2 packs of smokes. I smoked a PAD so the cost of two days of smoking gets me much more than that in vaping. I am using Novas at the moment but trying to learn to setup up an AGA-T+ so I can stop buying Nova heads and just buy mesh/kanthal. That will save me even more.

In a given month I spend around $50 - $60 on vaping supplies. That money would have bought me about two weeks worth of cigs. So I am saving 50% over smoking. I have settled into my maintenance phase. I am not chasing expensive mods and "gourmet" juice. I have found what works for me and now all I have to do is keep stocked on juice and wick/coil materials.

I was saving money before I started to DIY the juice. I started vaping in October, 2011 and quit smoking five months later. I'm not counting money saved while I cut down on smoking for the five months. At this point I have spent a total of $694 for vaping. This includes the E-Power 14650 (still in use) and two back-up units, juice, cartos, batteries, chargers, lab supplies, various accessories and enough nicotine base to last me well into 2014. Subtract that from the amount I saved by not smoking (below) and I'm $1,614.19 ahead of the game.

I think I will be saving after this month. Got 2 different kits and a x2 and loads of sample juice all bought with extra coupons or discounts. Should be good for about 3 months hopefully. Almost 300 spent but the nasty smelly things were costing me almost that a month. And love not smelling or the house smelling. Never knew how much we smelled till I stopped 3 and a half weeks ago. Now you can smell it on people really bad. Even my aqaintaces who only smokes about a fourth of what I did.

Tacoma Wa,
I spent $20 a month to make 3 cartons with a machine and using empty filtered tubes... when i started vaping i spent alot... ALOT.
But when i started to DIY it came down alot... now That i sell my DIY to all of my vaping coworkers...My vaping is free and a little more.
So now that it's free, I don't ever worry about not having juice or cartos being if my stash runs out.. I "borrow" from my store i keep in my jacket pockets.
Yeah i feel like a drug dealer sometimes.... passing products for cash.. but hey.. ya gotta do what ya gotta do. :)
