No I don't save money...

:D

I'm just a few weeks in, and I'm already saving money, even when I include the cost of hardware. My smoking habit was around $200.00 per month.

That said, I'm using eGo batteries and a Kanger T3, not exactly the most expensive rig ever made at less than $100.00 total. I'll be rebuilding the atomizers for my Kanger, which is a matter of pennies per week.

juice expenses come out to around $1.50 per day, but I'll be making my own juice in a couple weeks, which will save even more money.

Actually I am saving money, even though I've only cut down on the smoking it has been dramatic (from 2 packs a day to 5 cigs). Working on getting hubby cut down on analogs, I got him the same gadgets I got myself and he'll get there. Pushing him because he has early emphysema and I'm hoping this will help his breathing problems.:vapor:

I always go all out in everything I'm interested in. That sometimes adds up to hefty cash, but for me it wasn't about saving money. It was about my wife and kids. I wanted to be around as long as I can for them. Now after the mod purchases streight upkeep is far cheaper than my pack and a half a day of Marb reds habit.

If I don't jump on the bandwagon of those touting the "latest and greatest" which, in my book, is only a fad item, then yes money is saved. I took me a while to see what was happening. Why do I say "fad?" Because it lasts for a while and moves on to the next new thing leaving the fad in the dust... proving it was, in fact, a fad... no different from mini-skirts and bell bottoms. I'm still using and duplicate-purchasing what I started with and am very happy in both my vaping and my budget book. I wish it would become a fad though as the price doesn't drop on it. Why? Because its already a good price, dependable and user-friendly. I also stick with the tried and true juice mixer I started with who had excellent prices. I don't frequent the latest over-priced juice gurus. Its all hype because when I have plunked down the cash to try them they're not as good. I do DIY now saving huge amounts in comparison but still go to my original mixer for convenience and excellence but that's only $60.00 every other month.

Right now since I don't DIY I'm at at $60 a week. I started out with a vision vivi nova then had the wicking issues and switched to a carto tank while waiting on wire from a vender. I also bought a provari about a month ago and love it. But it's currently at Provape for a button issue. I'm in the negative as far a cig cost but it goes down every week.

I miss my provari. :(

I think in the beginning I was definitely saving money but as things have broken or died I've replaced them with more expensive parts. Mostly because I think my Provari (just purchased) will far outlast my Ego Twists (have had three break/die). It is still cheaper than cigarettes, but not by as much as it used to be. The AGA-T2, for example, eats all my juice at a much faster rate than a dripping atomizer.

I definitely am saving money... As I financial analyst, I'm pretty good at keeping track of my expenditures, and if I break it down, even with the initial learning curve costs (cheap e-cigs, 808s, crappy devices, etc.) , ever since i started vaping, My annual cost for vaping is less than my costs of a consistent 3 packs a week costs. Now that I've moved on to replaceable tanks and such, I feel my costs will be even lower annually, and thats to great resources such as this forum, I can manage my costs even more than I already have.

I think those that were heavy smokers that make their own e-liquids must save money sure.
But if you were not a heavy smoker and you buy expensive liquids, having a big e-liquid consumption you can spend more money vaping than smoking. But you must evaluate the money you will spend in your health if you keep smoking.

Sure you will save money and you do not waste your health.
