Yep, steroids.

And correct, it's an actual battery.

And the 510 cartos fit it, it's sold at madvapes in a carto kit. There's this cone/atomizer hybrid, but you don't need it.

ego cartos fit egos, they just hold a million drops of liquid :p, and thread on the cone threads. 510 cartos hold 20-ish drops for me when i use them.

20-30 drops is pretty darn good, but if I'm going to fuss with syringes, I may prefer the 2ml Ego cartos on an Ego then...

The Ego cartos wouldn't fit a Hello 016 then. Bummer - would like the small size, long battery life and huge liquid volume all in one!

I'm going to try the ego carto on the Hello tomorrow, will report back. :) You can fill a regular 510 carto with the "condom fill method"...do a search on youtube for that, there's a video. No needle needed. :)

Thanks, Bianca - you're being very patient with me, lol!

Those crazy carto terms - ".... plugs" and "condoms." Who comes up with this stuff?? LOL! :p

Between us we have 4 Screwdrivers by Trog, 3 3.7v box mods y Ken, 1 5v box mod by ken, a little chuck and a little sister variable voltage by ken. I have 2 egos on order. Kens box mod is the go to device for my husband, I love the little sister and don't put it down unless I have to. These 2 devices seem to be so popular for us because they do have an on/off switch, since we are rather active that comes in very handy. My little chuck I use a ton at home where I can set it down and not worry about firing it by accident. The Screwdrivers tend to get used more kayaking, I found some cylindrical dry boxes that work ok for them. The ego's may go paddling or just be handy at work, I don't know exactly where they fit in yet. For the price I have to say Ken's box mod is the go to mod in our house. it gets used far more than the other expensive mods we have.

You could get close to that with the 900mAh battery:

Joye eGo XL 900mah Battery

It's 13mm longer than the 650mAh batt but will get you 8-10 hours of fairly heaving vaping. The 650 is good for about 6-6.5 hours. One of each would get you through a very long day.

And you're better off with the mega eGo atty and cart:

eGo Atomizer for Joye eGo
Empty Black Cartridges eGo Atomizer for Joye eGo

The cartridges hold the same volume as the cartomizers and are a lot easier to fill. Last me 4-5 hours.

You would need a charger and the case is really nice:

Accessories

And if you wanted to use your 510 attys or 510 cartoz - then having a couple of cones is nice - for the carto you will need to ream out the cone though:

Spare Cover for Joye eGo

The Provapes (or any) 1.6-1.7 LR carto on the eGo at @7.5Watts vapes better than my 5 volt mod. And you don't have to pay attention (ie. you don't have to take short drags for fear of burning them out like you do on a true 3.7v mod. eGo voltage runs between 3.1 and 3.4v.)

510 LR Cartomizer for Electronic Cigaratte.

Also the LR atomizers there work well with the eGo (not the 3.7v mod though, imo - too hot and loses flavor).

510 LR Atomizer for Electronic Cigaratte.

And there are new 'coned atomizers' now - similar to the Hello:

eGomega CONE atomizer
eGo CONE mega cartridge

note: a regular cartridge won't fit with the 'coned atty'.

Have some on order and should be here tomorrow. No experience with them.

Also note on goodprophets. The 510 mega atty (which is the same diameter as a regular 510 batt), isn't the mega eGo atty, which has the same diameter as an eGo batt.

While I prefer the mega eGo atty and cart, the one mega eGo carto I've had since May 23 is still working well. The main thing on cartos is to keep them soaked and refill on first sign of flavor drop (same with attys really ;-)

I guess I should probably add - the smaller the better. I'd really like to keep it under 7" long and 3/4" thick, so it fits in the case. LOL!

I'm going to have to do a lot of research after I get all of this feedback! :D

Shopping for MODs is big fun. This site has a whole lot of them listed.
Electronic Cigarette Mods | e-Cig Mod Reviews and Comparison

That 3/4" width constraint really narrows the playing field down alot. Most mods that take 10440 sized batteries will probably be small enough, but that size battery really doesn't hold much of a charge. It's barely a step up from the stock batteries. If you step up in size to a 14500 or a 16340 battery, those have pretty good capacity AND they have to ability to drive LR attys to their full potential, in particular the IMR chemistry batteries in that size. Get AW batteries, they're simply the best.

Fyi, battery designations indicate their dimensions, for example an 10440 is 10mm wide by 44mm long and the trailing zero indicates round.

I've got two 16340 MODs, the Chameleon (from IkenVape) and the Mini-VapeStack (from MadVapes). Both small simple fixed voltage single battery MODs. I like the Chameleon because of its small size, button placement, full set of 510/901/801 adapters, battery capacity and power. But even the width on the more slender Chameleon is right at your 3/4" constraint.

Some models with >10440 batteries that might be slim enough. These are all listed (with links) on the site linked.
* Chameleon - 16340 (right at your 3/4" constraint)
* Precious M - 14500 (pretty certain this is slimmer)
* Precise 16 - 16340 (pretty certain this is slimmer)
* Mako Midi - 14500 (not sure, but maybe a little wider)
* VYPR - 14500 (not sure, but i think slimmer)

Have fun shopping!

Also, if your not looking for increased power, but instead want to extend the experience of your stock 510 batts... definitely consider the eGo/Riva since those provide the same regulated voltage output as the stock 510 batts (around 3.1v), but will do so for longer.

The Ego while a great vape isn't a 3.7v unit, it's 3.2v. I love the Buzz for when I'm home and dripping and when I'm out nothing beats the Kaji mod for it's small size and bottom juice feeding ability as well as its battery life in 3.7v mode.
My Sabertouch is also a great mod, I love the touch sensor and it's very well built, a bit heavy though when loaded with batts to carry around.

Hi Kristen, I feel too new to add to this but want to say something about the eGo that I read and believe but, not sure its 100% true. When you said your 510 batt hits great at 1st then (I assume) gets weak as you vape (as the batt gets weaker so does the hit too) well, the eGo is said to keep the same voltage range (6+hrs) until the batt dies, meaning the vape does NOT get weaker as the battery dies (It gives the same hit from beginning to end) so it always feels like a fresh battery.

I own;
Four 901's
One Duracell box 3.7v
One Flashlight mod 6.0v
One Kr808D-1 Passthrough True 5v
Two Joye eGo's 3.4v w/LR atty's MY FAVE:D

PS. Nice Post Kent C !!

Kent! Holy cow I haven't seen you in forever!

Thanks for the input - I think I'm going to have to re-read your post several times before it actually makes sense to me, though. This is like learning a foreign language! LOL!

All of those "mega" names worry me - how long/wide do they all get?

From what I could get from your post on the first read - you'd recommend an Ego XL battery with mega atty/carts?

What exactly do those "cones" accomplish anyhow? LOL!

With the right ohms on the atomizer or cartomizer, you can vape at the same wattage or higher as a 3.7v or 5 volt.

Of course but the Ego itself is still a 3.2v battery, not a bad thing but calling it a 3.7v battery is incorrect.

OK, guys, this is all "greek" to me! LOL!

So LR attys work on the Ego - I thnk I remember reading that. I got an LR atty as an extra in an order and tried it on my 510 - I LOVED the vapor - it was PLUMES and it was actually WARM. But I was wondering if it was warm because I was using it incorrectly (not supposed to use on a 510) with a drip tip or if that is a natural effect even on an Ego? I thought that was so cool (warm vapor!) I didn't think it was the drip tip, because I now us that occasionally on my 510 with a regular atty and the vapor isn't warm.
