I researched for 3 weeks (yep, that long!) before I switched from analogs to vaping and I bought an Ego as my first pv. Within a week, I had also bought the tank attys and tanks.
My experience has been that I have had problems with leaking, from the tank mostly. Am I overfilling it? Probably. Also, I think I tend to "hit" it too hard. Plus, I chain-vape like the thing is surgically attached. If I were to put it down for a few minutes between hits, it would probably work better.
The batteries are great, the attys work ok (not sure if my wicks are too long or too short), but I've never had the "clouds of vapor" some people describe, not even from day one.
That said, the flavor is more true with the tank. They are long-lasting. Easy to assemble and switch parts. All in all, I love the Ego, the tank...meh.
What I've been doing the past few days is dripping into a couple of old carts I had from my original order. They were originally filled with tobacco flavor. Now I've got the clouds of vapor and can hit it as hard as I want. (can you say 3 feet of garden hose? ;) )
I ordered some 2 ml plain carts yesterday and I think I will be happy with those. I'll get the best of both worlds, for me.

Not sure why I'm justifying myself.

Well, it's because you're bummed out with your purchase. You feel the need to exaggerate because you're mad. It seems a little strange that you're mad enough at people not experiencing the same issue you experienced to call them liars, but thinking back 25 years to psych 101, it probably isn't an abnormal reaction. What you're really hoping to accomplish is to cost the manufacturer a few bucks so that you feel a little better. And, naturally, it upsets you when shouting from the rooftops doesn't quite get the response you hoped it would.

Good luck with that.... uhhh.... 'bro'.

And IMO anyone who says they use their T attys for a week, yet alone two or three, are [blank]..... I let your imagination fill in the blank.

Really?? So what am I (and others, including my wife) exactly? No need for imagination. Spell it out.

I'm glad there are those who enjoy the tank atties...I'm not one of them. Too much work to get them going. I don't enjoy dry hits, nor sucking my eyes into my head for little, if no, flavor.

I sold the two atties I had this weekend, along with the four tanks.

Now, that being stated, if someone presents me with an eGo-T that's kicking ...., that's cool as cool can be. I'm not here to bash the eGo-T; on the contrary, I'm glad (and a tad jealous), that some folks are finding consistency right out of the package. I enjoy my eGo, LOVE the eGo-T 1000 mAh batt I have, and will continue to suggest the eGo as a viable first choice for beginning vapers...just not the eGo-T atty.

Hey, Isaac, you can insult me all you want, I'm just a fellow member (in good standing, if I may add).

But do not mess with Administration, dear. :)

Just a piece of friendly, albeit unsolicited, advice.

Its just a matter of time before you get a bad one or a batch of bad ones. I got 4 bad ones from 2 vendors. And I might be able to fix them. I will be very happy if I do. I will. But I do have my doubts because I could get it working so well for about 10-15 minutes then I'd take it apart and do this and do that. If you have a backup that's all that matters. And I don't mean another ego t atty. Something else.

I tried an ego t and didn't like it as much as the mega atty. The taste and vape was okay but it just doesn't hold enough juice for me. When they come out with a 2 mil cart I might try them again but my next one will probably be the GOGO that holds 3 mil with a 1300 mah batt. The only problem it is a carto and I haven't had much luck with them but these have a new design so maybe it works better.

I really think you've said enough, Isaac. I've known Elendil for a long time and there's nothing classless about him, I assure you.

You, on the other hand, are really out of line.

Out of line for what? Calling him classless? Don't you see why he wanted me to answer that question? He wants to ban me. Ban me for what? For voicing my honest opinion about the eGO-T? Even in this post alone over 50% of replies have said the tank attys are tasting dry/burnt after a short period of time.

I've simply voiced the god honest truth about my experience with the Tank atomizer, and IMO they're garbage. If I'm not entitled to an opinion please let me know.

Wow, seems the EgoT is getting more polarizing everyday. Am I the only one who is lukewarm about it? I thought mine was ok but not great. I only used one tank + atty for about a week and just kind of put it aside and forgot about it. Cartomizers are still working great for me. I'm not really wanting to like one thing more than another, I just kind of let whatever works be my vape of choice.

IMHO Grimm doesn't have the technical savvy to effectively troubleshoot his eGo T.

Just the fact that you admit the EgoT needs troubleshooting is not great praise really. I guess anyone who is not a mechanic shouldn't drive a car? For the majority of people vaping should be no fuss no muss. As soon as something goes beyond that it's a fail imo.

I've read about tons of fixes and tweaks for the EgoT and I could do those things. I just won't.

I may be kinda new but I have been using my ego t for nearly a month now. I read several of your comment on atty's being no good. Well I ordered 2 extras just in case I'm not going to bother reposting how to get rid of the burnt taste I've already posted elsewhere here. The ego t is far superior to the cartomizers I tried before better taste better draw better ape and so much simpler. Yes I've had to go thru a little learning curve but it's been a great experience at way les money spent than analogs totally off them since vaping began. Keep the wick wet and all will be good. Ego t has absolutely changed my life for the better.
Ps no modifications running it stock

For forgetting your manners. Yes, calling people names, any names, is bad manners.

Elendil wants to ban you? And is baiting you?

I agree almost completely - just hate to have to keep ordering more attys.

my last comment on this:

yes the eGO-T got me off analogs. Yes I've posted before that I'm happy I bought the eGO-T. Yes, I'm eternally grateful it got me into vaping and off analogs, BUT doesn't change the fact that for me the attys do not work. Am I doing smth wrong maybe, but I don't care. The eGo-T is collecting dust and will only be used in rare cases for which I have two brand new attys.

The only reason I'm so animated about this is because I've yet to have a bad experience using other atomizers or cartos. I don't have any troubles cleaning a regular atty and get it back to work. Can't say that with the T atty. I just can't. They don't work for me and that's it. I've said it before and I will say it again; I just don't like the Tank atomizer.

My eGo-T has worked flawlessly since day one and the same goes for my wife's. Zero issues.

Elendil - or Katya: How do you clean your attys? I'm just starting to get a harder draw..I got a few in the mail today (I've been using one exclusively) -I've q-tipped it and blown it out about every other day. And for the record I LOVE MY EGO-T!!:vapor:

For the 50% of people (according to Mr. Clarke, that is) who don't like their T atomizers, please send them to me.

I have access to an industrial laser, and will slice them up for you. I'll even video it.

(The ones I don't keep to use, that is.)

Seriously, if you have some and loathe them, I'll happily pay postage + a little. PM me. Standard or LR.
