Hi All,

I am completely satisfied with my eGo 900mAh MEGA atty/cartridge setup. I've always believed that if something works, don't fix it. With all the controversy surrounding the eGo-T I think I'll wait to try it after all the bugs are worked out. With my MEGA eGo I fill the cartridge (really easy to do) maybe twice a day and the batts last for around 12 hours. Otherwise, no hassles at all and great flavor and TH. I vape all the time I'm awake. I don't compute the need to spend more money when what I have works great!

Oh jeez. Has anyone else noticed everyone wants to think their device is the "Holy Grail"
It's okay to admit that the Ego T sucks...... because it does. Nobody wants to have to mess with something to get it to work the way its ADVERTISED. Ego T = FAIL.

Another awesome post by Bassthumper. Thanks guy. No really, thanks for that jewel of a post.

FWIW,

The "T" is the first and only device to supplant the bottom-feeder (Super TorneGo II) device that I designed and built over a year ago. For anybody that is familiar with me and my work, that is fairly high praise.

I've been using the "T" since late December, when I got my first "evaluation" atomizer. And I've been using the LR atty since TW started carrying them. I'm 6ml a day in a two-atty rotation. I had my first atty "fail" yesterday... it was a LR and the coil went open. The standard resistance unit that I got in December is still going strong.

As a side note, I don't use the eGo batteries though... I use Riva "SE style" batteries which give "true 3.7V".

I look forward to evaluating the "Type B" units, solely for the additional capacity.

Your mileage may vary..... to be sure.

If you could give the thread where it was discussed it would be superb...

Post #2078 in the big "New Ego-t" thread is the first place I saw mention. Scottbee knew something about it and someone else had a few details. Details came up on another forum as well. I've cleared my browser history since I saw it, but maybe google can be helpful.

I wish I could say the same. I spend way too much money on the new "shiny toys".

I haven't for a while. Funny thing is, I've come back to using the smaller ecigs over my mods lately. So I drop 13 or so bucks for a 102mm battery every once in a while. When you get that "new toy bug", it's hard to get rid of lol. Don't get me wrong, I love that I can pick up a big battery device when I want, or even rotate through some other devices I have not used in a while. It keeps it fun imo.

I think the "T" is a great concept and could be the future of our e-nic devices...that being said I'm a 2 year vet of e-cigs and mine just isn't consistent enough for an all day vape. If it werent for the 3 out of every 5 puffs of "burnt taste" I'd still use it...but when I can get great vape from a de-bridged 510 atty 100 percent of the time its just not worth it to me. I have faith in the industry however, and look forward to seeing the "T" once its been perfected.

I have used the EgoT for only 6 days now but I can honestly say this is the best device I have tried by far. It is the most consistent and convenient option out there bar none. I have yet to take a hit that is remotely dry and I am a heavy vapor. If the attys on this last only two weeks I will throw every other ecig I have into the trash.

As with every device that comes out....there are a lot of bad batches. SO that could be one explanation of why people are having problems. Another is that the EgotT atty might be ok but the juice people are using is the culprit. For Example m201 attys last me about 2 months each....but if I use thick liquid with them....they start to die off after a couple of days. To be honest most US made juices are atty killers even if they aren't too thick....I don't know why. I think most of these attys are designed to be used with Dekang juice. I would recommend that people use their clearest, thin liquid with EgoT before giving up on them.

You've been around long enough to know what it's all about. Folks that have been at this long enough have used pain in the *** gear, and appreciate when something comes along that switches up their routine for the better. I agree 100% about juices and atty's. Not that I even have one of the T's, but I have used LOTS of devices, and have seen how diff thickness\makeup of juices affect each one.

Here, there, everywhere!
Really?? So what am I (and others, including my wife) exactly? No need for imagination. Spell it out.

I am one too then - I love my Ego-T. Does it weaken the flavor...a little maybe but other than that I love it! No leaking, burning, nothing like that for me.

The really nice thing about the eGo is the fact the batteries are excellent and 510 threaded. If you end up not liking the tanks for whatever reason, you aren't stuck unable to vape. And, the eGo system has its own options besides normal 510 attys. There are ego cartos and a couple of styles of ego megas.

Gotta agree with this. Although my Tank is gathering dust, the batteries are getting lots of use daily. That's one of the reasons I didn't mind trying the kit because I needed a few more Ego batteries anyway.

I hate my eGO-T for the simple fact the T attys are garbage. I can get maybe 2ml of great taste/vaping out of them. Then they start tasting like ...... Burnt Taste all the friggin time. I spent $70 on attys or so and am down to 2 new ones. F that. It's now collecting dust. It's ok to maybe get started and get off analogs, but its not an allday PV.

IMO:

the MAP tank is great. using it at 4.8v on my ProVari.

eGo T attys suck. Period. Out of the 10 attys I tried I didn't get more than 1 day of good vaping out of them. NOT one day. I guess I received 10 duds then. I've read enough posts on ECF to know I'm not the only one. And IMO anyone who says they use their T attys for a week, yet alone two or three, are [blank]..... I let your imagination fill in the blank.

I don't care how tech savvy you are, how long you've vaped either.. I've started on the eGO T and have experienced nothing but frustration once it starts to taste burnt, & at over $10 for one atty that lasts me for one day, I can say the Tank attys are garbage.

I'm going to put an and to the [blank] story, the word(s) was Lucky ... MF's. happy now? .. jeez.. and here all of you were thinking otherwise. Shame on you really.. I'm def disappointed in ECF.

Posted elsewhere?

<<IMO the attys are hit/miss. I have had attys that started to taste burnt after only 2ml of juice. Others work fine for 10ml or so. I got tired of cleaning and doing soft dry burns on them.>>

So what is your _______ with the eGo T

Suggestions for people using the egoT....and are having problems.
1) don't fill the liquid all the way leave a quarter of the tank empty....this will solve most of the wicking issues people have.
2) make sure the hole in the tank is all the way open....when inserting it the first time....make sure to insert it all the way and spin the cartridge a few times. This will insure the hole will be completely open. SOme people were having problems with this and by inserting it all the way and spining it...it solved their problems.
3) use thin liquid....the clearer the liquid and the higher the PG percentage the better. I really think Dekang liquid will work the best with these.....since all these attys are designed to work with dekang liquid to begin with.

Again I have been vaping a long time....I should know better than to rave about a product before I use it at least for a couple of months...but I am so impressed with the EgoT. Even if the attys give me only a good couple of weeks...I would trash all my other devices.

I wonder what it is about auto feeding systems that seem to weaken the taste? Like I said, I don;t have a T. But I've erad several times that the taste is weakened. The same goes for my Kaji. Awesome, awesome device. A real game changer for me when I first got it. But, my favorite juices no longer had the same zeal they did with dripping or with carto's.

Not sure, but the taste, as well as throat hit was not as good with the EgoT that I have. I was actually more bummed about the TH than the taste.

As a PC builder/repair person I discovered years ago to not purchases the latest and greatest.
Let others do the Beta testing and purchases when the product is reliable.

Thats an A+ for A+. I have to admit the tank is my work horse, but it does SUCK. I vape vg all day and it cant handle it. I killed my first 2 attys, tried every cleaning trick in the world and had no luck. I will say I have had the best luck with Volcano attys. I have learned how to replace the wicking myself and still nothing to brag about. I hate filling cartos because the juice is so thick it takes forever and when it gets low forget about it, its like wasting half the juice to enjoy the other half if it dosnt spew out of the end. I think im just in VG hell. But even with pg my tank seems to choose when it will preform great and when it will flood, dry up, gunk up or just die. i have learned to live with it simply because of its ease to fill carry and use, not because of its stellar performance.
