i know you can store nic for along time in the freezer. how long is a long time? 5, 10, 20 yrs? I have a lot of freezer space 
I'm thinking of buying a mini fridge or mini freezer to store nicotine... is a mini fridge with the temp as low as it can go good enough to store the nic base for years? I can't seem to find a cheap enough one with good freezer space. I'll keep looking though!
DH was hanging out with one of our local moonshiners who just makes it for himself and friends now, and even that's rare. He was telling DH about all the different fruits he's used to make 'shine- "I even made potato jack" he said. DH just laughed and said "That's Vodka, Dude!" I love this guys 'shine- it's good sippin' whiskey, just as nice as some better vodkas.
Yeah I was thinking about that.. It just needs to be small enough.. my apartment is already pretty small, I can't fit much!
Ideally I'd love something that is just big enough for my DIY needs because that's all I'd use it for.. anything bigger would be a waste.

front opening - open it and cold air dumps out onto the floor

Hmm I hadn't thought of that.. good call! Plus I could just slide it under a storage table and slide it out when needed.

It has mostly bad reviews but maybe Grainger Tool Supply or another reputable place has good models.
BTW - I bought a Kenmore Elite microwave from Sears.
The main power supply blew out so I returned it for a replacement.
No such luck! My expensive extended warranty got it delivered to their service center for repair.
They fixed it but we were microwave-less for a couple of weeks.
Be careful about extended warranties.

I bottled up 500 mls of juice in 8 of the 60 ml. glass bottles and put the bottles back in the long plastic bag sleeve that the big bottle of nic came in. It allowed me to stand my bottles in a long row up against the side wall of my freezer, and doesn't really take up alot of space at all...maybe one ince of space used from the side wall of my freezer is about all it took up.
Good idea. Mine's been laying on it's side.
I wanted to make sure it's sealed adequately and no leaks for months so ok.
Time to stand it all up
I bottled up a liter of juice Thursday put in 60ml amber bottles and sleeved them with paper towel and toilet paper cardboard tubes to keep them from breaking in a plastic shoe box and put in a chest freezer like the one above. I got my bottles from wholesalevials with free shipping.
FWIW, the plastic used in (most of the cheap) shoeboxes may become brittle in the freezer. Check it before you rely on it for protection of those bottles. (Side note: Broken plastic and plastic shards in the freezer are 100% guaranteed to stab or cut you when least expected...)
