Ok, I love this gizmo!!! First of all I had trouble getting a vacuum at first. I'm vaping 7.4 and using a 5ohm carto, so that eats a lot of juice. I have a sealed V2 shorty adapter, that I filed down because my stainless steel duals weren't firing. That made me think, since I about removed all of the air slots off. I hooked that up and viola!!! The DOD is rocking now!!!

Continued success

Well, I'm not so sure about "success" yet. I do like the concept and I hope I get it working well across the board. This devices behavior has been a little hit and miss for me so far, but I've only had it today...

Any of your beta testers live above 5500 feet?

Every 510 device I have behaves a little differently as far as how much airflow the connector allows. Whether it's the depth of the notches or the position of the threads and how deep they'll let an atty or carto screw on, I really don't know...

I got the DOD this morning and have been using it on a 2.0 ohm cisco at 3.7v and with a 100% PG juice. On one of my more "airy" 510 connector PVs, the DOD doesn't keep up and I have to squeeze the bottle a little at about what feels like would be the time to drip if I were just dripping. On one with a tighter draw, it seems to keep up OK so far.

Thank you six. As far as I know none have been above 5500 feet. Good question. The tighter the draw the better (without choking it of coarse), more vacuum. Go to the DoD sales page at MadVapes and there is a link to the DoD web site. You might find more answers there. If you don't there is a Contact there.

I'd also strongly suggest getting the shorty 510 sealed extensions from Mad Vapes - those have only 2 slots and will naturally tend to create a better vacuum.

I'll mention that I've had great results with the hybrid attys. The vapor was good from the start but the dod makes it just the right density. They were a bit too "juicy" to begin with. Not splattery, just such dense vapor. I find myself using this more and more often...even at home where I was a "drip only" kinda guy. This is completely relaxing... It always takes me a while to get used to something new.

Has anyone seen the Drip on Demand Kit at MadVapes. I found it under the "Custom Mods" tab and it looks really interesting. You can put it on almost any PV including the RoughStack and it automatically feeds your atty or carto. Very cool indeed!

Pretty mixed reviews, though. There was a glowing video review posted a few days after those came out... and then a few negative written reviews... then four or five dueling video reviews on youtube a couple positive a couple negative...

The eGo zero looks pretty interesting though. Too bad it has been out 5 or 6 months and never released in North America. Greece and Spain are about as far as it got.

whats ego zero??

Well, for the price it costs, who cares about reviews. When i see new things that may be cool for less then 10$ I always grab a pack for testing...

In t his case it works fine just you need to use them like in the first video, press the button and do 2 "dry" inhales..

VERY UNCOOL to promote one supplier's product in another supplier's forum. The two devices are not even similar so IMO your motives are suspect at best.

EDITED:
...Just my opinion. Hoog's a better man than I LOL!

Thanks Scott but it's okay. I like to see new products and active discussions :)

I think most peeps can agree that 1ml and 5 to 10ml is a huge difference and like you said, not even a comparable product. I've got tons of tank stuff here and personally I don't like them and don't put them on our website because they never seem to work quite right. But the DoD works perfectly for me so it's a product that we'll sell.

.

The eGo zerro is an eGo with a cross between a pump cart and a smart cart on it. There's a 5 month old thread in the "eGo type models" sub-section of the general discussion forum.

Who cares about the reviews? Well, I do, for one. There's a couple of grand worth of crap that doesn't work in my junk drawer right now. I'm pretty tired of adding to it even in $6 increments.

As to the DOD system, I'm having better luck with it now (still reserving judgement until I've used it a while). I discovered that it fits farther down in my joye and bauway attys. The bottom stem just didn't go all the way down with my ciscos. That will take a little further investigation as to why or if it just happens to be the two attys I have out right now or just what the difference is.. But this thing seems to work better when the stem inserts in to the atty all the way.

Thank you six. The original design was for a 510. We found differences in the circumference in 510's. The solution was to make the atomizer shaft on the DoD increase in size from the tip at 510 to the base at a 901. That is why some of your 510’s won’t bottom out and it would take some effort to do so. I am just shooting from the hip here but if the DoD fits snuggly into the atomizer shaft, I don’t think air leak is the problem. I suspect the atomizers themselves. Some have a more airy draw than others and it sound like you are zeroing in on the right ones. Please keep us posted. Thanks.
