I've had mine for a week now. I cannot express it enough...those bottles are fragile. I am very glad I ordered a few extra, since both bottles it came with cracked at the threads in the first two days of use. But I've got the feel for it now. It sounds stupid now, but I think I was creating the problem by letting my guard down and squeezing too hard to prime the atty or over torquing the white cap for overnight storage. I've been more mindful about both lately, and haven't had a problem since.

Its a great product, and is worth the learning curve. Just spend the extra 59 cents and buy some extra bottles in case you run into the same start-up problems I did.

I'm recovering from a health setback and in the process my tactile response is lacking. The DoD has totally saved my sanity w/ the auto-feed. My bottom-feeders were just too cumbersome with my hands right now and the DoD on the HH just HITSSS..

So somebody scoop up that trade.. it's worth it. Very much so. -Magnus

I have several DoD's and I simply love them!
It has made it far easier to drive, run errands and even walk my new Weim pup
when I don't have to carry a purse or bag to hold supplies in like my nicquids.
I bought a couple of DoD kits to check them out for myself to see if they worked
as well as my "Vapemate". Now the "Vapemate" is a wonderfully made marvel but it is a tad expensive for many folks so this "Drip on Demand" kit is just what the vape doctor ordered!
Guess what?
They do work as well as my "Vapemate", are a hell of a lot cheaper and that is good news for all of us on a budget! Some have complained it looks too much like a pipe used for smoking herbal remedies but frankly I don't care what other people think I'm doing and I have not had a single problem using this out and about on my daily jaunts to parks, restaurants,Dr.'s offices or the hospital. Not one person thought I was doing something illegal else they might've called the police or could have easily asked me what I was using. Enough said!
You can get extra bottles of varying sizes for however much liquid you want to carry around
which means you will be using this great product for decades to come.
At least I will be using this for decades!

Okay, I've found out what not to do with my DOD. I'm sitting at the computer. DOD on my buzz and I decide it's time for a refill. So, I pull the bottle off fill 'er up go for a nice vape and WHOA!!!! Huge mouthful of juice!!! I forgot to put the tip back on the bottle. So, now not only do I get to deal with the juice in my mouth and the super flooded atomizer, I get to feel like an idiot too. :)

I'll bet I'm not the only one though.

No, you're not the only one LOL. But I've only done it ONCE. Still loving my DOD.

I had a similar experience with the very first prototype ( D#*n it was pretty!). It was smaller than the present model and used an ordinary bottle. As you can imagine I was very excited to test it out and I took a very strong a drag. I almost drained the bottle into the DoD and completely filled it up and of coarse I got a mouth full of eliquid. I’m like you Phonedude ever since that experience I’ve been very careful to inspect it every time after a fill up. That experience did have a silver lining though. It took the original idea of just having a bottle holder and mouthpiece for dripping to the device that it is today.

:thumb: On another note I want to thank all of you folks for taking the time to post your comments on this thread. It means a lot to me and I just want you to know how much I appreciate it. :thumb:

Thank you toto,
First just to cover my (you know what) please understand that this has not been tested for any length of time (and I am sure the FDA would find some way to ban it from the planet), proceed at your own risk!

Here is the lowdown from my Bride:
1. Clean the area you are going to use with rubbing alcohol.
2. Coat of surface conditioner or gel medium to allow the paint to adhere better.
3. She uses regular craft acrylic paint
4. After dry, coat of “ModPodge’ or any glaze found at a craft store.

Have fun. I can’t wait to see what you come up with. :thumb:

I think a contest that shows how
A)easily
B)beautifully you can make and personalize the DOD would be a great contest.
We could also have one for the best use of the DOD signature
All those could be integrated into a great contest and would be fun!
