Okay, finally got some sun and had a camera handy. I'm not used to GIMP, but I slapped together a little collage of these custom Santos Mahogany drip tips on OliveR Dibi #26

I think the straight tip with black looks better on a chrome rm3 or a Cyclone, but hey, these are just some quick pics :)

Was looking through quickly, my first reaction was when did he get 2 more Dibis?

I agree on the straight with black tip, but they all look great :)

We're having a lazy weekend, so this is all I have to show. :)
I had a sudden impulse to make 3 polymer clay tips (was curious to know how they would look) ... they are shaped and designed by hand, so they aren't perfectly symmetrical. The clay is wrapped on a solid stainless core. They are NON-drip tips since it has the hole but not a concave shape in the end. Hope you like them!

We FINALLY got a chance to make a few more tips! If only the "real" world would quit interfering! LOL!
As well as making wholesale pen blanks and polymer clay pen tubes for a company, we are also interior trim carpenters and do work for 2 different contractors ... just when we think we're going to have some "shop time", we get a phone call! Ugh!

Oh well, gotta pay the bills!

Beautiful as usual!

I'm working myself up to get another mod/atty setup and you can be sure it'll have a new DTD to go with it. That Black with Gold Web Tru-stone ... wb12 just might influence my mod/atty decision.

Am I doing that backwards? Get a setup to match a drip tip? It wouldn't be the first time I did things that way. I once bought a zoom lens and realized, "Hey, now I need a camera to go with it!" :) Just goes to show what I think of your designz.

And thanks for the wide bore page.

LOL! You can bet some ladies on here have done that ... buy a pair of shoes and have to get an outfit to go with it! :)
I don't find anything at all wrong with that. :D

The wife is looking for a flat whistle type tip that's pretty wide but also doesn't just look hideous!:) seems like something you guys might be able to help with!:)

sent from my damned S4!:)

Hmmm, that's a toughie ... we turn ours on a lathe, so they are symmetrical all the way around ... not possible with our tru-stones and resins. The closest I could work with is polymer clay, but it will still have the round hole in it instead of a wider, flat hole ... the clay would be shaped into whatever shape you wanted ... and I haven't a clue how it will look until I'm finished. LOL!
