This is a local story. It is the same propaganda. People hear this kind of story on the news, and their mind is made up. They are missing stories such as the one posted here recently, from Reason.com by Jacob Sullum.

The story by Sullum was posted in another thread. Please reply with any comment about that story, to that thread alone.

I am very disappointed in my local tv news for airing this story. They even have a doctor in the video talking about it. This is why people are believing vaping is bad. They aren't hearing from the VAPING COMMUNITY, nor are they hearing from the opposite viewpoint, in these kinds of stories. This is how we will lose this war. We must present the opposing argument, and show them that the propaganda is misleading people. I will be contacting that news station.

Oh, they do have a place for comments below, in the news story I gave the link for. Please if you have Facebook, give them an opposing side to this. I don't have FB, or I would.

Once I got started...... Took me a while to write it. At one point, I was trying to figure out if I could bold something and deleted the response to one of the sections I quoted. Had to redo it.

Yes, I loved it. I am so honored you took the time, to write to a local news station, out of your area. This is one way to fight this. I hope more people who read this, will also give an opposing view as well. Local people I've talked to, believe this propaganda. Now you know why. Thank you for shedding some light on this. I do appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

Oh, and one other person posted on that story. (so far) I am guessing that is a local person, but I am not sure. If this was an ECF person, THANK YOU!

My neighbor who is 17 smoked cigarettes for the last 3 years. With her mom's permission, I let her have my old eGo starter kit, and now she doesn't smoke. Harm reduction for teens is still harm reduction and thus a good thing.

Update: The vaping story is off of their front news page now. You can still access it via the link I initially provided though. It seems I wasn't the only one who emailed them. Thank you for ANY ECF member who contacted them, or commented. I cannot thank you enough.
