This thread is getting really long now. Anyone know what the best ohms rating would be to order for 510 cartomisers being used on an EM Riva?

The 401 cartomisers with an adapter taste a bit burnt on it. They are fine on the normal batteries but I'm getting tired of constantly recharging so thought I would go for someone with longer battery life.

Thanks in advance.

What ohms are the 401's you have? They work best w/ 2.5ohms or so. For the Riva, I'm assuming it's like the Ego and operates under 3.7v under load? If that's the case I'd use closer to 3ohms.

I like this quote best on the cnliquid site "DOA Warranty (Guaranteed to fit and work as advertised) CE2 are NON-REFUNDABLE and we will not accept returns on them due to sanitation reasons".
Does that mean they guarantee everyone of them but they are non refundable, how funny is this, so what if a bunch don't work as advertised, means there's not a dam thing they will do about it as this reads to me.!!

I originally put this thing together to test the long wick of an Xl, and only displayed it here last night as a joke. However, I have been constantly using it since then and it is holding up better than expected.

As far as the wick test goes, it does not do very well when the liquid level gets to about the level shown here. If vaped in the horizontal or near horizontal position tho, it does okay. If a regular E2 with a shorter wick was installed inside, I suspect that the wick would empty the bottle without running dry.

This is a 10ml juice bottle from My Freedom Smokes, and nothing has been done to it except drill a hole in the bottom for the mouthpiece. It vapes from an open reservoir, so has to be kept vertical between vapes.

I've been screwing this thing on to different devices and found that I do not have to handle it with kid gloves. I even accidentally dropped it on the floor. So far there has not been any leakage between the bottle neck and battery fitting. I put a half tank of juice in it last night and it looks like the remainder will last me the rest of the day. Right now I am wondering if I need to make something a little more serious, or to keep using this one until it fails.

BTW Katya. How dare you call my masterpiece a contraption, LOL.

I'm also still having serious issues with the CE2 R3 Cartos I purchased, they do not put out enough vapor and still don't taste right, seems like I taste the rope inside of them too. I even removed the first silicone o ring, then I even removed the second one that covers the ceramic cup, which seemed to help but after vaping it dies down to only a little bit of vapor, seems like when I tilt it down and the ceramic cup gets wet it works better but heck who want to cover your tip and tilt this carto down before every vape. I either got some bad Cartos and I sure hope the ones I have on the way are much better or these cartos are just not my cup of tea.

They do, I'm staring at one now ;) He may have requested them special. I see he got the RS kits that aren't officially out yet.

Really? Does it really hold 2ml or anywhere close to that?

The ones I have here are slightly longer than a standard E2, and a little thinner.

br5495,

Exactly my point about the ceramic cup having to have liquid in it or at lease pretty wet to get a decent vape, it almost makes me think the ceramic cup on these cartos should be at the bottom of the tube then have the silicone protector over top of it, then all the lquid would be up above it and only let in what is needed. I wonder if they have tried this, I know it sounds backwards but it really makes sense to me after my test and after seeing your test
