everyone, I have been vaping for almost 2 years now, I know what I'm doing, I'm filling correctly, I have tried different juices, which shouldn't really matter really as long as it is a mix of PG/VG. I have torn my brain apart trying to figure this out, it shouldn't be that way when you by a cartomizer, they are a fill and vape product sold by the manufacturer, they shouldn't need to be modded and should fill and vape and thats that though I have done everything, am I getting vapor, yes a little bit, but they get hot fast, burn up my liquids and fast, and produce nothing like other cartos I have that have filler in them and no where near the taste of my other filler type cartos and no where near the nice thick vaper I get from my other cartos, look I want to use these and like them I really do as well as the ones I have coming and love the thought of no filler, but these ones I have will not do for me, I will take my LR cartos from eastmall and other suppliers over these any day of the week so far, again just my experience and my opinion. I will try the ones I have coming from the CN Liquid shop, if they are not way better then the results of what I have seen so far I am blowing them out and fast, I hope they are better but if not there gone

Ya know, when I first heard there was filler in some of these my first thought was: "Filler in a filler-less carto, wtf??", But after thinking about it a bit and seeing the pictures I'm starting to think it might not be such a bad idea. As long as the stuff isn't near the coil and won't burn and is only there to facilitate wicking to the coil I don't think I have a problem with it.

Thoughts?

thoughts? yes, I had some of those yesterday

filler traps liquid from ever reaching the coil, this doesn't matter in the beginning, but it does in the end (before the end, actually)
ha! even their wick does that, take a carto, fill it, vape it till it runs out of gas, then take it apart; you will then notice that the wick is still soaking wet. That's another good thing about the Lptb, it's small and efficient, and in the right place at the right time.

yeah but with the r4's it's gonna be hell to get ptb into them especially if they look like this.

Does anyone know if this filler material is removable, and how hard it is to do?

edit: Thanks br I just re-read your post. Pulling it out for cleaning sounds like a pain, if possible at all...

Pulling it out is a easier than putting it back in, heheh. It's only a narrow strip about the length of the cup.

Well as long as it'll come out I can always go back in with PTB plugs. I can dry burn with those in place.

This is the size of it. I cut it from the filler of an old cartomizer. If you can't get it out by yourself, let me know and I'll try to explain how to do it.

Anybody want to split an order of 100 510 short 3-3.2 ohm? I really want some, but dont want to put out $130 right now. Afraid to order stateside cuz I want to make sure I get 3-3.2 ohm.

jmcan I'll pm you when I get my order (just placed it last night so it'll be awhile). I'll need to inspect and meter a few to make sure they're the right ohms. In the meantime if you find someone else to split an order with go ahead if you want. If you don't need 50 that's cool, too. :)

p.s. The ones I have coming are black if that makes any difference.

Oh, banjo, thank you but I dont want to take your cartos. You probably wanted 100.

Well, it's not like I can smoke them all at once, and they do last a while. Besides as you know, ordering less than 100 of them from e-liquid.cn wasn't an option. :)

I'll be placing an order for some XL's down the road so I can always add more shortys. Anyways I'll PM you when I get mine and see if you still want some.
