My XL order hit NY at 5:03pm today. If it goes through like the last one it should be here around Tuesday.

At this point the biggest question I have is about the 510 connection issues. So many people reported trouble with them not working on this or that device I hope they finally got it straightened out.

So help me out in interpreting this please!!

The most current shipping data states: "2010-08-25 20:59:41 SHENZHEN Despatch from Sorting Center." Does anyone know what that means RE: delivery ETA? SHENZHEN sounds FAR AWAY!!! I have a feeling I'm gonna be waiting. Last communication I had with them about my order was on the 18th....so that was 9 days ago. I guess I will be waiting another week?????? It is being sent "World Wide Express Mail" if that is the same shipping company that you guys had.

Also, why is everyone using a drip tip? I need it portable (and heard they could be leaky if using drip tip) ....so I'm wondering about "the why" here. For example: is it because the carto burns too hot and the tip gives you distance from the hot atty?? Or some other reason for the drip tip? Just "feels better"? Can chew on it? ??? LOL ... I dunno.

Also, what is your favorite way of refilling now that you have had experience? with a Needle or popping both top pieces out and dripping? Approximately how much juice goes into a full refil?

Mine are the regulars. After I run through the stock I bought, I'm going to order the XL and a VGO kit or two.

I don't notice a vapor reduction, but I do notice a dramatic flavor drop once it starts drying up.

Shipping time from China to the US via EMS shouldn't take more than 5-7 work days. I don't use a drip tip myself (don't need to), but I think some here do for their own personal reasons.

I don't know why it takes these guys 5-7 days to process and ship an order. Maybe that will change once they ramp up production.

So if it is not the wick that is burning, what makes the carto develope a bad taste?

Just Would Like to let you all know We have got nothing but great feed back from the new ceramic E2's
I think there great you can take small puffs and get large vapor.
Also We have found that you need to load them up with 2.0ml of e liquid yes 2.0ml of e liquid do not follow the directions that say 0.6 or you will taste ... after about 5min. Put 2.0ml e liquid in around the ceramic and you will be in heaven.
You have to fill them with a filler needle but you have to use the filler head that comes with and you will love them. If you fill these Ceramic E2 cartomizers correctly they work like a charm. This is At 3.7 3.9 Volts anything higher and they do not work like they should and you will taste some serious ..... They are not meant for anything higher
Also Not Enough liquid is what we have found will give you a very bad taste.
Do not alter the second translucent plug as this is what hold the ceramic and liquid in just use the filler head they provide in the 5 pack there are grooves cut out in the second translucent plug take your filler needle w/2.0ml slip the filler head thru one of the grooves(One on each side) and push slowly 2ml of e liquid exact amount about 1.96ml

The production line had to stop and change over to ceramics, so they had many orders on hold, waiting for ceramics, but it seems that they're making good progress once again.

All of this is REALLY HELPFUL!! Ok...It's not my time to get my hopes up on a package yet. Oh well . I have a package from China waiting at the post office for me to pick up tomorrow and I was thinking it may be my lucky day...LOL...joke's on me. What will be really weird/funny as crap: is filling one of these things when school starts...as I am an elementary school counselor. I guess I will make sure i have only filled ones with me at work for sure!! The kids are psyched I quit smoking but NEEDLES (even though they are plastic)...I work in the hood so that just wouldn't work for me. I'm still pleased to know what to expect when I get them.

Any for those of you who do use a drip tip I would LOVE to know why!!

drip tips just provide a bigger draw for me, less stiff, plus i dont like having my mouth on a actual e2, or any carto or atty.

in the car or out the house i use them as they where meant to be used but at home i always use a driptip

They're rather long though, especially with the xl batteries that a lot of people use, and now the 50mm xl cartos!

If you want to get away from using needles at school you have two completely decent choices: 1) pre-fill 2 or 3 cartos and stick them in your pocket... they should last you all day, or 2) take the inner pieces out and drip-fill directly from your juice bottle.

Option 2 might not be the best until we get these newer versions to play with, but it's how I refill my current E2's and I've had no problems at all.

You don't really need to carry them in your pocket either, they make some good electronic cigarette boxes that are PCCs and will keep the battery charged while you carry your prefilleds too. E-liquid even sells the 'Infinity' ones, and I think also the RoyalSmoker's aluminum ones, as well as the flat kind, there are just so many of them with different patterns and designs in China. Exactly. That would be a brilliant idea, now you mentioned it! I hope they make a vgo box like the one above. The vgo battery is actually even shorter than my regular 280mah kr808d1, and even if the box only charged it once or twice as opposed to 4 to 6 times, we're still talking about a very long time considering they're 650mah. I mostly just want it for the convenience and I like the patterns and cigarette box.
