Hey Bad! Got the package today and I must say, THANK YOU! I've only opened one, but this one so far has been awesome! Cooler vape then the earlier 808 E2s I have, but just as plentiful and flavorful. I'll give a better review later, but my initial impressions are everything I hoped they would be.

to remove the primer more i would suggest more then a ten second burn, i would keep doing 10 second burns until there is no smoke coming off and the smell is gone , so i would say to do like7 or 8 ten second burns, then do a quick brun and smell it, if it isnt hurting your nose then its clean and good to go.

I'm still futzing with this first 401 carto. I left the filler cap unmolested and have been refilling with the syringe (like bad said, VERY easy to get the needle in there). The 401's are built just like the 510's and 808D's. Same exact ring set-up (just smaller).

I could use these all day on a factory battery, but an hour or so ago I put it on my LS via adapter and set the voltage down low just like I use for the 510's. No wicking issues with either voltage but I like the taste better on the LS. It figures in a way because these come in at about 2.5ohms, which is right in line with the 510's. Some people might like the warmer taste just fine but for me, the cooler the better. I can hit these non-stop and the flavor doesn't quit until the carto is empty. It's a noticable improvement over the older 401's. If you're a dedicated 401 user I think you'll be happy with these, with one caveat: Just like my older CE2 510's, I've noticed a little seepage with these. Not enough to be considered a leak, but when I take these off to refill them the connector is a little damp. I don't know if it's enough to cause an auto battery any problems, but to be safe I'd probably stick with manuals.

do you know they added a ohm box to choose the ohm you want, pretty cool

Before I used mine I rinsed them under hot water and dry burned them. No bad taste or smell at all.

Bad, I've been through a similar situation with my dad and it's a tough row to hoe. The cops temporarily confiscated my dad's guns so he wouldn't carry out his threats of suicide. Then my brother and I got him unvoluntarily hospitalized until the immediate crisis passed. It's not a pretty scene and my heart goes out to you and your family. <big hug>

I appeciate that alot, its a freaky thing to deal with and i was told its common with people who lose loved ones they have been with for 60 years, he most likely wont make it to the new year.

Well, I wasn't even gonna go outside to look in the mailbox, but I did it anyhow. On the way back in, the only thing I was thinking about was that I would have make a post on the forum. Hey! I resemble that remark!

Everytime I get a new order I start thinking about my next one. It's like an addiction or something. I'm already planning my next XL order (all 510's, all 3.0-3.2ohm).

Just a FYI on putting the filler ring back on, using a unsharpen pencil works perfect using ether side to push it on the ceramic top also boiling works good for getting rid of the primmer taste..

That's probably close, but a 20 gauge slides in with no problem at all since the material is flexible.

if you take a original 7 hole or the original 3 hole revision 1 and 2 e2's and compare them to these new ones the build difference is night and day. its like comparing apples to oranges.

there is so much that has changed its not funny and all for the better.

When my wife came home, I fixed one up for her. I burned most of the primer out with the filler hickey still in it. I don't think it hurt anything. Before I finished, she said that it was good enough. So she filled it up and left out of here in a cloud of smoke. That woman will smoke anything.

Now its time to convince them to make a new 3 to 4ml extra wide e2.

Also, v1john have you noticed that there is no refill limit on the new ceramics, so now these arent considered disposable, there used to be a 4 refill limit up to 10 but now that is no longer there.
