No burn taste. No paper or filler taste.
Mine get warm @ 3.7 on my V3 but I've yet to try HV (but I will)
thse are exactly what I was looking or hoping for.
No melting taste/glue taste AT ALL. Tastes like I'm dripping.
I can take both clear plastic discs out and fill it up from around the outside of the cup
I just put in about a ML and go to town.
You guys will be impressed. They break new ground. These will definitely be a hit.

Thanks for the review!! Did you try the other E2s or is the first time you have used the E2s?

I have only tried the 510 E2 ceramics. None of the other sizes or XL's but I DO want to try the XL's because I think they'd work better at high voltage. Mine get REALLY hot at 6v so I turn my voltage down using the Terminator from notcigs.com and WOW PLUMES of great tasting vapor. I have to get a new multimeter so I can keep you guys posted as to what voltage works the best but mine are supposed to be the 2.5 or 2.7 ohm ones....
White rubbery cap that's about the same as any other carto
but two clear rubbery discs down inside. The second one is a bit thicker and has the three holes-- two for injecting.
I just took it out too with a paper clip and there is the ceramic cup. I just filled the bottom up with juice.
NO nasty taste whatsoever-- I blew out the primer fluid first.
tastes like you're dripping.

This things are the future of cartos IMHO.

Does the inside of yours look like the "How to refill XL-Cartomizers" mid-way down this page? RoyalSmokers electronic cigarette factory in Shenzhen

Looks like we might have an over-all design change.

Primer fluid? First I've heard of primer being used in the E2's. Interesting.

Not sure why the XL's would perform better at HV... to the best of my knowledge they are the same electrically, but just have a larger reservoir. Dunno for sure though.
Well Pfffft I don't know what this crap was! VG maybe? There was a clear liquid so I blew it out. Not alot, just a bit.
I'm just trying to help you guys out.
Supposedly, SCOTTBEE, the XL's run at a higher ohm (or atleast I read something about an 3.0 ohm XL 510 is what I'm referring to)

Here's an update--
I got a LITTLE bit of leakage but it's like A DROP... no more so than you would if you over filled a 510 atty... which might have been the case because I didn't really know what I was doing when I filled it up but It's still tasting great wicking flawlessly (this one is atleast)
we'll see what happens. I'm gonna go out and test it today.

KINDA
there's an extra clear O ring that goes between the injector site and the mouthpiece. I just pull all the rubber pieces out, including the injector disc and fill it up while Im' rotating along the outside (between the ceramic cup and the outter wall of the cartomizer.

My new E2's just arrived, definitely primer inside as well, feels like vg. Haven't filled yet but here is a pic of the rings and my best attempt showing the inside so far...

I don't know, the color of the wick bothers me a little. It really looks like they've been pre-fired or something. The primer is clear so it's not changing color from that.

And the walls of the filler ring actually slide down to cut the ceramic. The filler holes are more like slits in the outer rim of the filler ring.
