So far, with minimal care, these things are almost like everlasting gobstoppers.

You people amaze me, falling for such a gimmick, we all know the e2 doesnt work at all, to be honest it most likely doesnt exist and if it did it wouldnt last no more then a day and if it did last a full day then you most likely cant refill it and if you can refill it then it most likely will taste bad but if it tastes good then im sure we can find other faults.
;)

Im sticking to my guns, the e2 does not produce vapor.

well, i did open one of my 3 v2's doing a dry burn with a pass through, it opened before it even started glowing so they can fail. Next time I'm going to burn at less than 5 volts
Do you have a pass through that is 5 volts in = 5 volts out? I have been looking for one that has the same output as the input, but haven't found one yet. I don't see well enough to build one with small modern electronics, so I make do with a crude home made contraption.

I got one from Electronicstix.com that's 5v. I checked on my multimeter and it was definitely 5v.

Tried a ceramic KR808 today, interestingly enough it didn't have any primer liquid in it. Using an adaptor on my ego and vaping MsT's which I believe has a higher VG% than the 80/20 I was vaping on the 510. Not sure if that would account for the difference or not but I don't think it runs as hot as the 510 version as I'm not getting the same flavor intensity, still a nice clean flavor though... It seems you can take longer vapes and can hit it a little more often without getting the "dried out atty taste"....ymmv of course....

I think it has to do with how much energy the circuit requires, something like a demand and suppliy thing. Mine measure 5.1volts, they are the passthroughs, not the battery usb lines.

it's not the PT but what USB supply you plug it into. I found one with a 2 amp brick, never tested it under load but would expect the only loss is the v drop in the wires. It works great for dry burns and doesn't seem to fall off.
br, you seem to be doing better than me with working with the little stuff, I've about given up soldering anything i can't jig or poke through a hole, getting old is tough :toast:

I have to ask, but is 4.7-5V even necessary?
Have you ever TRIED 4.7v? See that's the thing unless you've tried variable voltage you wouldn't know. It's necessary to ME and that's what this is all about-- personal preferences right? So anyways at 4.7 I can chainvape without the atty getting piping hot so quick. It doesn't suck through my juice. My juice also tastes better. And I'm even talking the difference between 5v and 4.7v. There's that big of a difference to me. subtle changes in voltage dramatically change flavor and otherwise, IMO
If I got some XL 3.0 ohms then I wouldn't have to change my voltage everytime I want to use an E2. Hence my post.

I use the 3.7 to 4.2 kr808d1 batteries and vgos, and also the 510mega, and I really absolutely never ever have to change the voltage. The CE2 also vapes relatively well, right until the battery shuts down for recharge.

If you have a flavor that doesn't work, it could also be the coil or the liquid itself.
The liquid, its flavor, type and brand, are actually the easiest to change.

and thats why thats the way to go, dialing in what voltage is best for the carto and you versus hunting down the best ohm carto to match your device voltage.
NO, it'd be more like hunting down that little screwdriver everytime I want to change atomizers or cartos. I'm looking for a little more convenience and would have it with the XLs and that's what I'm gonna do...
I sorta memorize the best voltage ((for me)) and remember it when I switch to that atty or carto. I use 306s 510s and 510 cartos and use around 4.7v for all of them but the E2s.

I look forward to trying the 3 ohm XL. If your experience is anything like mine tho, you should not have a problem memorizing your best voltage. I put all of my atomizers and older type cartomizers away and don't use anything else but the E2.
