Katya my precious little songbird..... the "Super TorneGo II" is my own design, a PV that I "created" about 8 months ago. It is my daily-vape and it's all that I really use. For me it works wonderfully, and therefore all test PV's get compared to its capabilities:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/product-feature-design-requests/70591-dream-pvs.html

Honestly, with two full time jobs (three or four if you include being a husband and father)... I just don't have any desire or intention to build anything in any kind of volume.

My eternal hope and intent with these "Dream units" is that people will find them to their liking.. and then, like the "Detroit Auto Show", legitimate manufacturers will respond to that interest by enhancing their own designs to satisfy the customers and generate sales.

Yeah, the Dream PV. I've been waiting since February for somebody, Joye/Janty/whoever makes Riva and Hello, to finally come to their senses and fix that bloody MOSFET switch and buy or steal your ideas. No luck. So you don't need to rub it in. I can't play with the circuitry of my batteries or fashion cute desk chargers out of Delrin. Above my pay grade. ;)

Come on, Scottbee, it's time to find a legitimate manufacturer. I love my Riva and I would pay a lot for your version of it. Four full time jobs? Remember what Dr House said: Work smarter, not harder. :D

Best wishes to your Dad.

I'm curious, so I gotta ask. What is wrong with the MOSFET switch? I've been using a Hello battery for some time now and didn't know there was something wrong with it.

Wow... kinda dead around here.

Got my order today. Consisted of XL 510's, XL 808's and another small batch of M-series. Surprisingly, after all the mix-up they got my order 100% correct, and even gave me two new 808 batteries to replace the defective ones I got a few weeks ago.

I just started opening them up and from my samples so far:

XL 808D's are coming in at around 2.8ohms.
XL 510's are measuring 2.5ohms.
401's are measuring 2.5ohms.

The packaging on the XL's is slightly different. They use the same boxes but they're individually wrapped in a tear-open plastic "bag" and stuffed down in the boxes length-wise. Every one I've opened so far has a trace amount of clear liquid (looks blue when you're staring down into it) on top of the bottom silicone filler cap. I wiped some out with a tissue and it has no color.

All cartos (even the M-series) are ceramic. All have the same internal set-up: silicone filler ring, middle silicone ring, rubber mouthpiece. No vaping tests yet but I can tell you that the connectors on the 510's have been changed. The "wings" are still there, but they've done away with that tapered "cone-shaped" hole they had before, and it looks like they've raised the center portion up a bit. The look of it is much more similar to a KR808 battery connector end than the older cartos. After inspecting the threads on a couple (thanks Scottbee), I screwed them onto my Bartleby and also my Little Chuck via a 901/510 adapter and they fired up fine. My older CE2's won't work on either of those, so I see that as a definite improvement. As always though, YMMV.

One thing I'm having trouble with at the moment is the bottom silicone filler ring. Once it's pulled out (which takes a bit of prying) it doesn't want to go back in easily. It has to fit precisely over and around the ceramic cup to seat properly. I have one out of a 510 right now and it looks like I'm going to have to try this one without the middle ring once the primer is cleaned out because I can't get it all to fit back in. As long as you're filling with a syringe it won't be a problem, but I like to pull all the inner rings when I fill and dry burn them so I'm going to have to play with it a bit. I'll post more later once I've had a chance to vapify a few. ;)

Got my samples from bad today!!! I agree it's primer on the 510 ce2, seems like the xl's he sent are primer free...

The regular tasted like crap for about 12 puffs then pure fried apple!!!

I really like these and will purchase more, not directly from the chinese but, I will use these ceramic ce2's from now on!

A thousand thank you's bad!

Edit: tried 4 of them so far with no thread issues. All work great. 510, 510 xl, and 808

Well, soon finally got here and I have the package from badkolo. Thanks buddy. I haven't opened it yet, cause I don't really need anything out of it. Maybe I'll look in it later on today. Everyone already knows about these things anyhow, so I doubt if anything I say will make a difference.

I'd be interested to know what you think of the connector change on the 510's, br.

Br is a man with loads of self control. If that package were here, there would be little pieces of cardboard strewn from the mailbox to the door. :D

You might try starting with the ceramic cup slightly off center to get the seal started. Push down one side of the seal with a paperclip until that side is seated.

Now work from a position at the slot of the ceramic cup pushing down as you move along the seal until you get to the other slot. Takes some practice.

Now you can understand why I mentioned if the ceramic cup seal had a beveled edge or a radius in the inner diameter of the seal, it would be much easier to put back in.

I finally got it back on. I tried a paperclip, a punch and finally got it back in with a pocket screwdriver. It's doable, but unless practice makes perfect I'm not sure I want to play lord of the rings everytime I want to fill these things. I was extra careful getting the filler ring out of there, and I still managed to tear the silicone part way through. Going back it's very easy to slide off the silicone with the paperclip and jab down into the center coil area (not good). For the time being I'll probably just use the syringe (until I have a chance to use these a while with the filler ring out and test for leakage).

I have one of each type filled with juice and ready to vape. Since the other two have already been discussed I'm going to start with the 401.

I just set the silicon cap inside the carto and press down with the cap of a bic pen which just fits inside the carto to apply even pressure.
