I've been lurking and watching development of these cartos and after seeing the filler/glue debacle today decided to just pick up some of the new Joye cartos and be done with it.

The fact that the ECF community has basically been used to carry out even the most basic beta testing really doesn't make me want to send Royalsmokers any of my money.

Release 4 is in beta test phase, No unflavored liquid comes inside (some call it Primer) to keep the wick wet by delivering, so the CE2r4 is a pure product, no any taste can be traced anymore, we suggest by first time filling to have a few minutes patient to let it wick better.(TIP!).
The leaking has been traced and given solution, the options for Ohms has been adjusted, 3.3 batteries like 808D1 (3.3V), 510 or M-series we suggest to use 2.4-2.6 Ohms and bigger batteries like 808D1 (3.7V) our VGO or MEGA bats with higher than 3.7 Volts 3.0 -3.2 Ohms for better performance. Lower Ohms gives more Vapor & Heating / battery last longer - Higher Ohms needs more battery Power and we suggest to order the XL versions for heating issues when use High voltage batteries.
Please Notice: our tests indicates when use the first time the CE2 with XL High nicotine the first puffs are different.RoyalSmokers electronic cigarette factory in Shenzhen

omg that polyfilled revision 3.999beta was disturbing. Looks like it was a beta testing carto where they were experimenting with the glue again to pinpoint the leaking, and experimenting with their own PTB-style implementation.

RS seem to use the production line for beta testing their experimental carto's, then ship the left over to unsuspecting customers.

Anyway that R4 pic with the rubber fiber looks very impressive.

We must emphasize that they have No Glue and No Filler, otherwise we are just back to square one with carto's that clog up over time, become hard to draw, and become flavorless.

I think that the main point is that Nico had arranged a delay of his order until the R4's were shipping. This hybrid he received is in no way what he ordered. I don't know how he paid for it but getting the payment reversed might be the first course of action.

eCig.cn really need to make this right. Royal Smokers need to make this right.

You can't keep treating your customers like crap and expect to stay in business, no matter what your selling or what country your in.

We, the customer, pay good money and big postage to get these things. The least they can do is make an effort to send the right stuff, in good time, and communicate (by email - yes, they have our email address) if there is going to be a delay. 'Most' people are reasonable when they are kept in the loop.

As far as the carto itself. C'mon. That's got to be a mistake. I can't believe that they are in any way a recent version, other than a test batch. If I was making a horror movie, that would be the carto of choice.

With that amount of filler, it's halfway to being a regular ( read 'Old Fashioned' ) cartomizer. Also, doesn't there seem to be one too many seal (or ring) in his carto to be the R4.

=========

On a separate not the picture of the R4-Ce2 at Royal Smokers that bad linked to looks like the wick is a different weave or maybe it's just an artists impression of the carto. If it is, let's put him in charge of the company. He's got the right idea at least.

The Anti leak Fiber in this image looks like it could be the old type filler. If it is, a filler ring or whatever you want to call it will not be needed. It won't be any more likely to burn than tea bag material. I'm not saying that I approve of this arrangement. I won't know that unless I actually try it.

Ok guys..take a gander if you want...I dont know what to think at the moment!!

YouTube - P1020191

Oh..the glue showed no signs of deterioration in the juice/PGA soak overnite...but who knows!

Interesting vid. So the higher ohm cartos had the glue and some had glue+filler? That's odd. 'fishjuice' posted last night that his had glue w/ no filler. Wonder what ohm's his were?

Well I just got an email from Martinez that I did not get the R4 and nobody has yet...and Linda was wrong.

I dont know what version they are but I guess I got a little of each of the failed versions...pot luck...all I know is that when I bought them they claimed to be no filler and no glue...I payed with a credit card thru Paypal so I'm not sure which course I'll take yet.

I emailed Martinez with the pics you sent nicotime. Lets just say, he's not happy and doesn't know where that version came from.

Thanks...I'm just not sure what do do at this point...do I sit here and take each one apart to see what it has inside and fix it myself...do I get Paypal and credit card involved...It would be a PITA shipping them back and probably at my expense then wait another month for maybe the same thing...dunno!! I do think you should get what is advertised and if you dont a decent company would take the cost hit for their problems...especially coming direct from the manufacturer.
