If you guys haven't heeded jazz_addict's advice and tried a
Vision VT, you're missing out. I LOVE this thing. This is exactly how I've been wanting a clearo to hit. Clean, smooth, warm, great flavor to the last drop, and the batt post stays bone dry. The only burnt taste I got was when I took a hit AFTER I ran out of juice. No tilting, twirling or swishing necessary, even though it's top-coil. Also, you wouldn't have to take it off the batt to refill. Just screw off the mouthpiece and drip juice into the tank. There's absolutely no way to accidentally dump juice into the center tube and it doesn't seem to ever leak (just be sure to double-check tightness of coil afterwards). When the VT on the Spinner ran out of juice and I had to switch to the T3 on an X2, I almost cried. I'm on my fourth refill already.
Only major problem I've had was with the threading. Screws right onto my Spinner (without an adapter yay), but for some reason, I couldn't get it to screw onto my X2s. The threading felt a little wobbly, like when the threads don't match. After a lot of careful finagling, I managed to get it on an X2, used it, took it off to try it on another batt, but couldn't get it back on after that. When it screwed on, it sat a little crooked too. Not so on my Spinner - nice and straight, no finagling, just not all the way down. Weird. I thought the threading was supposed to be the same on Spinners and X2s. Didn't mess anything up though. T3s still screw onto my X2s, and the VT still works on my Spinner. But I could have an X2 with bad threading that screwed it up for the other one, so YMMV.
Another thing about the VT is that you go through juice a little faster. But I think that's because it's actually doing its job and wicking properly. Capacity is 2 ml. I worried about the SS mouthpiece getting too hot, but it's been comfortable so far. $2.20 heads come in a variety of resistances: 1.8, 2.2, 2.4 and 2.8 ohms, depending on where you get them. I was liking the 1.8 on the X2, and I'm loving the 2.4 on my Spinner at about 4.1V. Hoosier eCigs recommends 2.8 on a Spinner at 4.8V.
SI, this would be a really good replacement for the X2 clearos, if upgrading those is in your future. Just 86 the polycarbonate tank (so I wouldn't have to replace them with mini-Vivi Nova metal tubes), fix the threads and make it screw in all the way. Or don't. An o-ring with charms really
would fit perfectly there.
About to try the eVod next (with adapters - shucks). Went a little nuts with the sale at Health Cabin and ordered a bunch of those. And more VTs.

And did you know that Boge just came out with
prepunched LR 45mm tank cartos for 808s?
