Hello,

I received an eGo kit from liberty flights & both batteries came charged & worked just fine. Last night they both died so I charged them. Now 1 battery lights up when the button is pushed yet does not vape. When I switch to the 2nd battery it's vaping/working just fine. Has this happened to anyone else? Why would the button light still light up even if the battery isn't working? I emailed liberty flights & am awaiting a response. This is a bummer but at least I still have 1 battery to vape with. Thanks for the help.

Cheers!

Did you use the standard atomizers that came with it?

If both batteries went dead this sounds like a defective atomizer shorting out the battery. No way two batteries would poof out of the box otherwise...

I did use the standard atomizers that came with the kit. Only 1 battery has apparently died so far. I'm hoping battery # 2 stays alive.

There's a failure mode on the Ego battery that will light the led but not produce voltage. It may be the little circuit board inside that contains the voltage regulator or the solder joint to the bottom of the center contact. Call the supplier and they will usually send out a replacement with a prepaid mailer bag for the return.

While it's not fun to have one of your two new batteries not work properly as I know from experience, if you've contacted Libery flights Ty will replace the battery for you without a problem. When I ordered my Ego kit from them in Oct one of my two batteries was DOA and I very quickly had a replacement. I have nothing but great things to say about the customer service I recieved from Liberty Flights.
