I've created a problem for myself and don't know how to unscrew it.

I bought unflavored nic 100mg and it's mixed at 80/20% PG/VG. How do I use that in the claculator if I want 20% VG in my recipes? I usually buy all PG nic so it's really thrown me off.

Calculator entries on the PG table:
100 mg nic at 80/20
16 target nic
Amount to be made 15
Water 0
VG ?????
Flavor 10

Thanks!

:)

Just premix some plain 80/20 PG/VG and use that in the section 2 for the "PG (no nicotine)" field. So section one would be all 0's except for the flavor.
Make sense?

OK, I'm a ditz. I *love* the calculator, it saved me tons of math!! Thanks for the fab contribution.

I'm trying to add some flavors to the flavor list, and had unlocked the sheet, added the flavor and saved it. Then closed and re-opened the ss, and the flavors don't show up. What did I miss? I had added TPA Vanilla Custard, and no show.

Hoosier is correct, see the video I made of how to add a flavor to the list.

Did you right click the row number in the TPA section and pick Insert New Row?

If you don't do it that way, it will not show in the drop down.

Thanks Hoosier, here is a visual video of the process:

First, allow me to thank you for taking the time to write up this calculator!!!
It's awesome!!!

Second, Ummm... Do you have a version that isn't in the Calibri font? I've changed the fonts that the calculator will allow me to change, but I can't change the protected cells. (naturally) I have a hard time reading that font. (both letters & numerals) I don't know why the tops of some of the letters are cut off.

 I don't know if it makes a difference, but I use Open Office since I don't have Excel.

Here is how to unprotect a calc spreadsheet in openoffice:
Unprotect Sheet - OpenOffice.org Calc
None of the sheets are password protected, so just click ok at the password prompt. Now you can change the font to anything you want.
Hope this helps,

To everyone that has thanked me, you are welcome, DIY RULZ!!

I am not making my own liquid just adding nic to flavored liquid. I am using a small plastic bottle and usually use 12 mg of nic. How many drops should I use in the liquid? Can anyone out there help me?

Need to know the base you are starting from, and the level you want to go to and the finished amount of ml to be made to be able to calculate it.

The calculator is perfect for DIY, and makes the job tons easier. I have a graduated cylinder from onestopdiyshop, and I have 30ml bottles filled with my nic juice and VG. Just pop in the numbers, and I have a bottle of custom made juice just the way I like it in about 2-3 minutes (depending on how many flavors I am using). I can mix as little (for sampling and tweaking) to large quantity as I want.

Yes, my desk looks like a mad scientists laboratory with cylinders pipettes, bottles and tons of little bottles of flavors. LOL, and I LOVE it! Next stop? apple/cranberry/graham cracker....yum, that just sounds good!
