Try this:
  1. Remove old coil while in TC mode
  2. Unlock resistance
  3. Empty fire (hold down until no atomizer message goes away)
  4. Power off
  5. Power on
  6. Cycle to power mode
  7. Screw in new atty
  8. Cycle back to TC mode
  9. Hit the fire button
  10. You should get the new coil message
  11. Press up, lock new resistance
That should work.
i didnt get a new coil msg with this either. damn i even put on a tank with a .4ohm coil compared to the .77ohm one im trying to change to and didnt get the new atomizer msg.

I love this set up. Got both the mod and the therum tank from my local vapordna. Love everything about it.

Hello all,
I have been having an issue with my iStick. It will randomly stop firing and restart from zero seconds. Other times it will just stop. This happens in power mode and TC. I have tried reflashing the update, rolling back the update, changing married sets of batteries(that all work in other dual 18650 mods), different tanks(also all work on other mods). The tanks are all SS304 builds, .4-.5 at 25-30W. It is hardware version 1.0. I do like the device overall, but this is frustrating.

Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks!

I used a firmware editor to change a couple of the things on my TC120w and it was pretty easy! I changed TCR settings from M1, M2 and M3 to Roman numerals, I, II, and III. I also changed The stealth mode message from stealth mode on and stealth mode off to ninja mode and phat clouds. IDK the why I chose phat clouds, but it fit so what the hell.

Ha! I love that!! :) Did you get to name them yourself or did you choose from options?

I'm not sure I understand what's going on. It's reading seconds in TC? How does it act in wattage mode?

It reads seconds in wattage mode. In TC mode it does not display seconds, but it will fire, stop and restart again or not. I have tried to get video of it to better show the symptoms, but it doesn't happen all the time.

In TC mode it's going to do that when the temperature you have it set at is reached. It should pause for a second to let the mod cool down just a bit and then resume. Most of the time you shouldn't notice any dropoff in vapor production but if your temperature is set fairly low it will probably be noticeable. What temp are you vaping at?

Thanks for the help. The vapor production does drop, like the circuit is interrupted and it starts from the beginning or just stops firing. The screen will go back to the main display of chosen temp or watts. I really need to get a video of the display when in power mode so that you can see it. It will make a whole lot more sense.

Yeah, I'm sorry I am being dense, lol. I don't use the bypass mode much. I have only used it once, actually, lol! Hopefully someone who has more experience with it will chime in.

They do dont they! I need an app to organize my apps. after awhile im sure Ill be needing an app to organize my apps that organize my apps that organize my cute cat videos... which are kept in an app. lol

I realized that they have some different pre-set fonts(they call them resource packs) in Nfirmware editor. theres an LCD type font and one that looks like an oldschool digital clock, which is what I put on there today. ill try to show some pictures

LOL! I know exactly what you mean. Thank goodness for cloud storage, lol!

A clock!!! That's awesome! The EGrip II has a clock on it and I love that. :) I would love to see a picture of the one you put on your mod!

Now THAT would be handy lol I dont know why more mod makers don't have something as small and simple as a clock added to their mods... I usually have my mod in my hand/at arms reach more often than my phone now days... speaking of phones mine will be charged enough to take some pictures here shortly so it shouldnt be too long, I tried to take a pic with the camera on the laptop but it didnt turn out

Maybe it would be possible to add a clock with NFE (NFirmware Editor) for somebody that has enough programming know how... I saw on a thread about the program here that some function type features can be changed as well, but I personally wouldnt have a clue where to start on that front
