troll, that's one of the shortcomings of a forum - people drop out and you have no idea why :(. all you can do is hope they are well.
still, in @ mudram99 case some should have mud's address and possibly email? right, lynn? ;)
You had a bit of space between @ and mudram99...@tiburonfirst. :)

Doh! should have read further!

Good evening everyone. Just popping in to tell you I clicked on Mud's avatar the other day and his 'last seen date', was June 1st.
Helluva vacation! :)

He wasn't vacationing up here in Detroit was he??? Unfortunately a lot of people can go "missing" here. Ask Jimmy Hoffa.
I'll keep an eye out.

TD, we have asked that question many times over in the GS Air thread. Last we heard he was on vacation with his wife.

Thanks Lynn and tibs!
I was looking at my istick 20W today as a little piece of the CF wrap he sent me to put on it was nicked. It probably happened from keys or other junk in my pocket when I drop the istick in it.

Just made me wonder what ever happened to mud...

Heh. Last night I was sitting on an easy-chair with my 40 in hand while watching something on TV. I had my hand with the mod draped over the back of the chair - just lounging. All of a sudden the mod slipped out of the silicone case and I was left with just the silly-case in my hand. Luckily the i40 fell onto the carpet so no harm was done, but it bounced far enough away that I had to turn on the lights to find it.

Lesson: Hold on firmly to a mod with a silicone sleeve when you hold it upside down. :D

It does an outstanding job on them, but as far as the coil itself, it depends on how much crud you have on them. I find it's just easier to recoil rather than try and clean the wire with the UC. You can dry burn and UC, but it just isn't the same as a fresh one. Hope this a helps a little. I don't have a lot of experience with it. I just bought it a short time ago. :)

'Morning all!

IMR Thanks

What I want to know is will an ultra sonic cleaner thoroughly clean the coils cotton, and remove the carbon buildup and prolong the life of the coil??? In other words restore the coil COTTON
