ccwaters, could you possibly show your build on that?

When the tank is empty I'll get a pic, just a .26 1.2 ohm microcoil and some KGD cotton

i would also like to know where you got that from.
i am vaping a kfun as we speak but that thing looks a bit smaller maybe?

It is smaller but not a lot, much lighter though

left to right, KF 3.1, lite+, lite+ with small topcap, and the Erl. It looks smaller then it is, mostly due to size of the caps.

70 grams is my lightest KF lite+ clone, Erl is 35 grams.

Got it from Vapingtech, $40 delivered, Fasttech listed them this morning for $20.75 in stock. Quality is pretty nice, and supposedly all the parts interchange with the near $170.00 real one. Very happy with it so far. The one I linked from FT is the same manufacturer as I got.

So how many of us just went out and got a new atty for our Istick? I did...I did... Seriously like the looks of it, won't fill it up as 8ml it a lot of juice in a tank for me (cause I have 3-5 going at once) A lot of people complain about FT shipping times etc. but it's really nice with free shipping you can buy one item and afford it. Its not like I don't have plenty of attys to keep me going until it arrives:laugh:

I've been using the Istick as my work device for a few weeks now and it has been a winner for me for sure. Great form factor and awesome battery life.

That being said, I have had and still have the same issue with the output voltage/wattage vaping hotter than the displayed setting. When I say issue, I mean more of a minor annoyance because at its lowest setting with a 1.5ohm coil which is 3.0v or 6 ish watts it gives me the same vape I've been getting for years on many other devices set to 4.1 ish volts or 10 to 11 watts.with the same 1.5ohm coils.

I have 3 Isticks in the house, two for me and one for the wifey. One was purchased from Eleaf and the other two from another vendor and they all perform exactly the same. So the " your istick is broken, return it" response wont be necessary. Wife vapes hers at 3.0v also BTW.

Some in this thread will see this as a complaint post and somehow be threatened by my findings, but I think it is important for people to give there honest opinion. Only way to know for sure is to try it your self and see if it works for you.:toast:

Just got my Erlkonigin clone this morning, great device, its pretty much as close to perfect as I've found for the Istick, better in all ways then any of my Kayfuns, short, very light, total weight with about 1/2 tank of juice is 125 grams. Great airflow, and better flavor then my Taifuns.

That's purty! I've been waiting for the Erl & Squape R clones to land. Not sure that I'll get both. Have to decide which...

My Squape R was supposed to be here today as well, post office decided not to deliver it, I'm a hopeless collector of hardware  Right now it is a toss up between the Erl, and my Rose, but the Erl is perfect for the Istick.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the two compared when the Squape R comes in. :)

And when she's good, she's very, very good.

Reminds me of a gentler, kinder version of myself:)

To both of the above quoted posts I either can not or dare not, comment.

(-;

Curious as to whether or not the iSticks that have been, umm "independently" erm.... pre-ordered by many here will be significantly different from those already in users hands.
Wondering if the units we are expecting the end of this month will come from existing stock or will have been manufactured with the experiences and opinions expressed on internet forums taken into account.

Finally got the two I ordered from vapeoutlet today. They didn't ship until the day after the estimated delivery date, and I had to send three messages to get tracking numbers....Man, I got some thinking to do about feedback for this place.
In the mean time, we have 5 Isticks in the house now. They all fire hotter than any other mod we have here, but I assumed that would be the case before I ordered the first one based on feedback here. My wife and I are extremely happy with them. I just have to run 4.5W-5W rather than the 7-8 I run with all my other mods, and the 1.7ohm cartos I have left are basically useless with the Istick.

For those of you that are finding the iStick slippery, what colors do you have?

I have the silver version and I don't find mine slippery at all. Maybe it's the high humidity here?

Now I'm wondering if I don't find my iStick slippery because of the way I hold it. I have relatively big hands and I just noticed that when I pick up my iStick, I automatically curl my baby finger inwards so that the bottom of the iStick rests on or around the middle knuckle of my that finger. Didn't realize that I was doing that until now. Heh.

so I just received 2 of these. Man. I cannot get over how small it is. Volume, height, weight, thickness, all small. I've only had it for about an hour, but I will say, this is a great buy. Looks kind of weird with an rda or kfl, but looks awesome with the nautilus mini. I cannot recommend this enough. Good enough for advanced users, GREAT for beginners/novices

If the Lowest Setting on Any APV is Still too Hot for You, the you have Two Option.

Use Higher Ohms for whatever you are using.

or

Use Something on you APV.

Actually you may be on to something there with the Kanger. Using a stock kanger head @ 1.8 and 8 watts get burnt fast. Using an Aspire BDC @ 8 watts is fine. I normally run both @ 8 on my vapor shark, DNA 30 clones, Vamos and a couple of SX350 boxes I built. I'll try one of my re-built heads and see if there is a difference. It may be that the Kanger just cannot dissipate the thermal shock of the pulses fast enough. Who knows though, all I ended doing was to not use the Kangers on the iStick which fixed it for me. Good luck with finding a solution.
