Good to hear yours is coming today. Looks like mine is in MN/ST.P last night on its way to TN. I guess the guy got his order early! LOL! I have a black one coming, what color did you get? Vape on! :toast::vapor:.

I did get mine from they guy in Minnesota with a big sticker on it that says Return for postage, the guy does not print/purchase his postage through the Ebay/PayPal system, Postage was lacking on mine, and the only reason it was still delivered is he did not put a return address on it. He mailed it on the 8th.

Perhaps this guy is an inexperienced seller, no idea, but it was much less then a good showing for a new seller. My personal recommendation is buy from one of the many other sources for this, at least until he gets some experience under his belt.

And as for a Heli-coil thread insert, mine have no such addition though my second Istick which I just got the center pin seems to be slightly more extended then my first which does make some of the atomizers I have a little wobbly on it. Another interesting note on my second one is I can watch the resistance change with small movement of the atomizer, it does not make a 100% secure connection, it is only .1, or .2 variance but is enough that coils rolled near the minimum occasionally get the low resistance message when firing. Going to investigate, see if I can get it to stabilize.

I've not used it as much as my first one yet, but I've not had it fail to fire like my first one does a few times a day.

I think he will do better in future. Did you have to pay extra postage ? If I may not get mine today since I'm not going to be home when arrives....

Forgive me for this really stupid newbie question... but why is "running hot" a bad thing? I run anything between 1.5 and 2.2 and I was enjoying the fact that I can vape it at 4-6 watts and be satisfied. I was hating having to turn my Spinners all the way up all the time and draining the battery so fast. I thought the iStick was just being more efficient or something. Am I not preserving the battery by running it at a lower wattage?

As long as a Person has some room to Dial Up or Dial Down their APV to Adjust the Hit, there really Isn't Anything Wrong with a APV that Runs Hot.

But if a Person is on the Lowest Setting of a an APV and their Existing Hardware doesn't work the way it works on Other APV's, that is when you see the Complaints.

That is why I wrote this Earlier...

If the Lowest Setting on Any APV is Still too Hot for You, the you have Two Options.

Use Higher Ohms for whatever you are using.

or

Use Something Else on you APV.

You will be proud of me...

I decided to practice with vv vw on that mini zmax I have and a not so thrilling batch of Joye attys I got a couple of years ago...

Looks like those attys are 3.1 - no wonder they were lacking !

Anyway, I set the zmax at 4V and they are working nicely

Love the pics with the mini Naut....dang, I wish I didn't have so much PT/Evod stuff

Come on iStick !!!

Cool.

You kinda Jogged my Memory with that Picture. I think I still have a Couple of these in my Obsolete Hardware Drawer...

Joyetech Joye eGo Mega Atomizer

Might have top Dig one out and take a Trip down Memory Lane.

I believe I posted this pic awhile back, but in any event, here's a little something for your trip. ;)

I'm just not sure it's legal to have a topper that is taller than your 'Stick... ;)

Everybody awake?? Looks like they dropped a Heli-Coil in for the 510 connection??

Good catch, r77r7r... Maybe I'll disassemble my iStick when I get home from this trip. Would like to see exactly how this little gem is put together and with what...

My Eye must have been Bedazzled by the Bling that was Adorning it.

I'm not knocking the Istick- I like mine. It just looked like a thread insert dropped down inside instead of machined threads that would be carved into the sides.

Could be a replacement option for people that have damaged threads in the future..

The 510 connector is a M7 x 0.5 thread which HeliCoil doesn't make....:(
Possibly someday......
