Did you catch Phil's comment in the Russian v2 review? "So I took it off of the iStick. I put it on a little bit more of an accurate device; the Vapor Flask."
His iStick review could be monumental. But, to tell the truth, I only care academically anymore. I'm really enjoying my iStick, faults be-damned. It works for ME. Hopefully everyone else will figure out if it works for them before they buy one.
Phil like's throwing around the word "game changer." I found his April Fools Joke to be hilarious where he made up some fictional device produced vapor some unrealistic way. I think if the iStick was really a game changer he would have put it ahead of the Russian and the Sigelei device that he claimed was only for advanced users, and not his target audience.
To me, the iStick would be a game changer, due to it's battery life and form factor, but because of it's iffy voltage ratings, he can't quite declare it that. That's what I'm expecting him to say.
Sorry guys, but I think the majority of the vaping community is just looking for a small form factor with great battery life, that doesn't require you to charge batteries separately, and will fire anything that a manufacturer sells. It just sucks for n00bs because on regular devices like my twist and MVP, 3 volts will barely get the things to fire. On the iStick I'm almost burning coils at 3 volts and that's probably going to confuse a lot of people. It confuses me still.
If this thing regulated voltage correctly I might even have ordered 2 of them. For now, I'll stick to one, and wait for a revision. How long do you think that'll take? The MVP v2 seems to have been out forever, and it's well known about the firing pin issues which is a more legitimate concern IMO.
If Phil could tell us the equivalent voltage to a regular device that would help me out.
