With all this power soon we'll be belching rain clouds and vaping 30ml a day.

Now that there be some Funny {MODERATED}. What a classic.

I have to say, I just recently bought some Aspire products. Everything I've purchased have been outstanding. No a piece of junk in the bunch, and lord knows I've bought some clunkers over the years lol.

BigD - Good seeing ya bro! Knowing all the vaping roads you have gone down as well I have, this is good to hear. I'm waiting on a nautilus mini and some of the BVC's as we speak. Are you using any BVC's and if so, have you figured out how to clean them or rebuild them? I've stuck with rebuilding my D14 Genesis with SS rope and mesh for over a year and thought these might prove to be worthwhile. I just hate the idea of "disposable coils". :D
Yes, my real name is Mr. tightass. :D

ya know, i'm surprised that since this is such a small device that they didn't put the 510 connector in the middle so that tanks wouldn't sit off the edge so much....

If they moved the 510 connector to the center I think they'd have to make it either wider or taller to accommodate. It would be nice though if it didn't increase the size much or at all.

There's no space inside to move the 510 connector to the center w/o increasing the overall height of the device.

I was curious about the Nautilus since it seems to be so popular. I watched Rip Trippers review and the coil isn't rebuildable. And they're expensive. One of the main reasons I bought a Kayfun (2, actually) was because I could rebuild them for years with a $10 investment of wire and cotton. I wanted to get away from disposable coils/carts, especially after getting 4 faulty carts in a row from Vea. I did buy a few Kanger tanks (3 Aerotanks, 1 Protank 3 mini) because the coils are rebuildable and they have glass tanks but the quality is definitely not as good as a Kayfun.

I think you run out of space. It has a 18650 in there, and they put the 510 next to it, with the circuitry. That's most of the appeal, the small size.

Having said that, they probably could move it a little towards the center. Not sure of the engineering obstacles, as we also want an adjustable or spring loaded pin.

For me, not an issue, as all of my 510 tanks are 19mm, the overhang is slight, and I'm always using the adapter with a beauty ring to give my finger something better to grab. Also, it keeps my finger off the naughty mini air hole.

At a buck each I don't think so and I'm pretty frugal. Of course I can go a month on one coil. And even then I only change it because I think it's time. But you're right about the Kayfun - nothing beats the flavor.

ETA: The way the Innokin release reads, the 30W iStick will be their "entry-level" model. Even with a custom battery, it will most likely be larger than the iStick.
My guess as well. Unless they put one of these in there:

pd2900-top.jpg

A similar form factor to the iStick and properly regulated output makes the entry level MVP attractive at maybe $50-$60 MSRP(?). $45 e-bayish. But I'm sure Innokin had the popularity of the MVP2 in mind during the redesign and size was not a driving priority. (And based on sales, they really had no reason to think otherwise I suppose).

So hey... hurry with the MVP4 already! :D

On day 2 without charging my iSchtick now at 2.7ohms and 3.0 Eleaf volts. Amazing. I just might make it until Mrs. Kodiak gets home tonight and discovers her cute undies ain't the same color as when I put them in the washer. Ok... TMI, I know but I'm between loads right now.

Too lazy to go back and find the post about the MVP 3 to quote it on. I realize the MVP2 has been out for a while now, but the rate of these new mods coming out is alarming. I mean, I bought my MVP 2, three months ago, just got an istick last week, and an MVP 3 is coming out a month or two from now.

I dunno about most people, but I recharge my battery every night. I feel like it's not necessary to have a battery that doesn't need to be charged for 3-5 days. All I care about is it lasting a moderate to heavy vaper last from early morning until the end of a late night drinking. 2600mah was plenty, and probably too much. An even larger capacity battery is overkill.

The feature that allows you to charge from the itaste is completely unnecessary in my opinion. I mean it's cool to say that you can do it, and have the ability to, but who really carries a charging cable with them everywhere they go. That probably adds to the bulk of the device as well.

If the MVP3 doesn't fix that firing pin issue though, that will be even more of a fail than the istick's voltage issue. Innokin has known about it since the MVP1, yet didn't fix it for the MVP2. 2 Generations and the firing pin still getting pushed down and not firing would be irresponsible of them.

I read that they changed the location of the fire button as well. Good idea, but it's as stiff as it was on the MVP 2, that's still going to be an issue. My thumb has finally recovered from those first couple of weeks now. I had to switch hands and use different fingers to allow my thumb to heal after using it for only a week or two.

After watching the youtube clips, I looked up the coils. $15-$20 per 5pk. Obviously, I didn't look too hard. I still have a Erlkonigin clone coming so I'm not really interested in anything else that requires buying coils.

I'll probably replace the battery in my istick with a 3100 efest when the battery goes.

Not rebuild, but I have seen a few youtubes where folks are dry burning them. The material is a ceramic, and shouldn't burn. But I don't think just soaking the heads cleans them very well.

On another thread, someone posted this vid to show how to clean cartos with a syringe. Has anyone tried this with an apire naughty BVC head? I think the flush with distilled H2O might do the trick. I'll pick up a syringe today and let y'all know...

My mistake. I said $1 per BVC. Looked at an invoice and I'm paying $10 for 5. That's about as cheap as I've ever found without dealing with people in dark, back alleys.

I'm averaging 2+ weeks on a coil vaping pretty heavily so at $2 a pop I'm not complaining. That's only $10 for 2 1/2 months of vaping pleasure[emoji5]️

An Easy way to Visualize what is going on Inside is to put an 18650 Battery over the iStick.

When you do this, you will get an idea of just how Little Empty Space there is Inside the Body Housing.

Can you post a link where BVC are $10 for a 5 pack. The cheapest I have found is $13. Thanks.

I vape like a chimney. I use nothing but 1.8 ohm BVC coils in all 4 of my naughty minis at 11.5 watts on my iSticks. I'm vaping Nicoticket juices and this setup is fabulous. I'm getting about 14+ days out of a coil and I've only ordered from evape. Hope this helps.

When you change tanks/flavors do you pitch the BVC or clean and reuse it?
