My B&M just got them in stock today. After reading everything, and watching just about every vid review, I had to run out and get one. I don't have anything new to add to the conversation, except to echo that it's awesome, and I'm loving it, as well as my new juice.

I know most of you do not like to rebuild coils, and that's a big concern about rebuidable tanks. But the thing is I have not seen so far so intense flavour and vaping quality as with some RBA and RTA... and they are prepared to be recoiled by the user...

But even those clearomizers which are not intended to get recoiled, and instead they just change coils with stock pre-manufactured ones, you can toy with them. I have almost forgotten my stock coils for my Kanger clearos, they were bought just in case, but I always recoil the heads with cotton, fiber and nichrome wire. I give up on dual-coiled heads, though, they're not worth the time in the more difficult process to get a twin coiled head.

But even with a single coil my Kanger Protank and miniProtank 3 heads works flawlessly, most of the times they even surpass the stock Kanger manufactures, and in that way I forgot the nuissances of calculating the cost of anything. Fiberglass wicks, cotton and nichrome (or kanthal) wires are really inexpensive. The rest is your joy, as in any other hobby.

Last experiment was fueled by some Youtube videos in which some guys are recoiling Aspire BVC's and Kanger dual coil heads... with BVC coils too. And I can assure you, my miniProtank 3 heads now rocks! They are more or less equally hard to recoil horizontally or vertically, but vertically it seems there is some advantages about flavour, not so bigger in vapour production. It's soon to talk about endurance of the coils, but I hope the best, because now, when the coils get gunked, the gunk is outside the air pass, so I really hope for the best.....

I do not know if you know this, but it is possible (beware the long-sightedness people like me, though, you might need a good magnifyier glass.....):

Hey guys, thanks to your help I upgraded to a little 14mm RDA to use with my Spinner and its been vaping great (I've been sticking around 1.6ohms @ 4V). My spinner is starting to crap out and I'm looking for something to upgrade to. Would the istick be a logical next step? I want something with a longer battery life and bigger clouds/flavor is always a plus. This will work fine with my dripper as long as I'm not sub-ohming correct?

Pinkish istick, pink protank mini, pink universal lanyard, pink drip tip....a pink cartotank is still in the mail somewhere with a few different drip tips
It's hard buying for someone that's never vaped before.

Sure, you get 10 more watts, and a replaceable 18650, but I think you are missing the point between this and an iStick. Don't let that picture fool you, that device is much bigger than the little iStick. The iPV mini is much more comparable in size to an mvp. Keep that in mind.

Yes the istick would be a step up :) and it's teeny tiny
Checks atty resistance, vv/vw, 510 threading, need an adapter for ego threaded tanks...it's a small connection though so I'd suggest get a 510 to ego adapter anyways. It's 2200 mAh and pass through battery (can charge and vape at same time)

Thanks guys! Ordering one now from vapenw on ebay since they're just down the road from me. When I get it I'll post a picture of what a 14mm dripper (think Igo-S) looks like on it.

Vapenw is a fantastic seller. Where I get all 3 of mine, plus 2 mini nautilus' for $40! Hope you enjoy it man, I think you will be impressed!

It's not about the 10 watts--I don't need 10 more watts, frankly. It's the step-down capability and the temperature control technology of Evolv's new chip that I'm after.

As for the size, well, size is not all that matters. :)

I can't believe I just said that...

For like the 3rd time, my Aunt has managed to mess up her bvc coil. Does anyone else have problems with their coils giving off a huge POP when you fire it up, only for it to spit up hot juice in your mouth?

This is the authentic 1.8 bvc coil I am referring to. Came in an authentic Aspire 5 pack. This is the the second coil we have put in, the first stared popping after about 2 weeks, and this one started to pop after not even a week. She runs it around 10 watts, and maybe vapes 3 mils a day. Surely I am not the only one having this issue. Would like some input or thoughts.

She loves the setup, but is not willing to replace heads every damn week, especially when they are close to 15 bucks for a 5 pack. I am about to say forget it and get her an rta and build her a coil, I am so tired of her having constant problems and returning to smoking after every tank she has owned has had some sort of issue.

I use Kanger protank 2 . They use single coils which are very cheep and easy to rebuild. I use 30 guage wire and organic cotton. There are lots of videos on u-tube on rebuilding the kanger coils. I think the protank 2 looks great on an istick .:D

With all the talk of the Istick being overpowered I have been afraid to bump up the power so that it will burn up my 1.8 Nautilus mini BVC. I have only used it at the lowest 3 volts. What volts/watts is everyone else vaping at?

That head can, and depending on the juice, needs more power. I vape from 8-15 watts depending on the juice. Is a different beast than the typical horizontal coil, and can handle a surprisingly wide range of power.
