Ok, so I was in the same boat. I love the Nautilus mini/Istick combo, but the small tank just makes it a pain to always refill. I don't like the standard Nautilus that much, since it does gurgle a lot. So someone on here many pages ago talked about the Silo from Beyond Vape- one of the same designers as the Nautilus, but it's just plain old better. This thing is amazing; it's now my all-day tank that I use on the istick.

Now, it doesn't fit like a glove, as it's a bit big on it. But in terms of performance for a larger thank that still uses BVC coils, I totally recommend it. No burnt hits so far, and I've been going through almost a tank a day and with no leaking, spitting, nothing. They even have a istick/silo combo package:

Midlevel : Beyond Vape, Electronic Cigarettes, Premium Vaporizers, Premium Vaping Products

Note, shipping is a bit pricey. I would read some other threads on it, their mini version is not great in my opinion, as the there is no draw adjuster. But this big boy has a hole one bigger than a Naut that you can adjust to.

(And I just noticed BVC funk. Not sure what you mean, so maybe this isn't the answer) :)

Yeah…not crazy about the BVC coils. I know it sounds crazy, but I can TASTE them, and it's bad. Really no matter what I do I can taste them, though some are worse than others. I'm not burning them, I feel like it is the material inside. I have got the stuff to try to rebuild nautilus coils but I haven't had time to sit down and fool with it yet. It is not something I'd want to do every day, but I have a little box full of spent BVC coils for my nautilus so it seems a shame to waste them without trying it at least. I really love the flavor quality of a rebuildable now that I've tried one, but I was concerned because it seemed like it might drain the battery of the iStick to such a degree that it would make it impractical for all day out of the house vaping…which is what I otherwise think the iStick is perfect for.

My main battery related panic about the iStick was me being a dummy and not charging correctly for sure. I've been vaping today since 9:30 am on my Orchid, 1.1 ohm, set at 8.6W, and the battery icon has barely moved. I had never let it get up to a full charge, before last night. Now that I've got two more that should be here on Friday (whoot! Eciggity!) I feel like I should be able to keep them charged like they're supposed to be, and rotate batteries with my Orchid and hopefully a Lemo when I can finally get my hands on one of those little buggers, they seem sold out everywhere, and be good to go.

Does anyone else think this little iStick hits harder and faster than some of their other mods? I had to take my magma off of it, lol! Its now sporting my Rosev2 clone tank.

Again... Pulse Width Modulation. I don't mind, all eLeaf batts run hotter, my iJust mini does, and I prefer it that way.

Y'know, I could also swear that, and I tried the first BVC... This little one below has run for 4 months, gave up yesterday... Give it a little time to break in.

Brings back memories of our early burning-carto days, doesn't it, Tibs, dear? :p

I got to that point early on at times until looking into the causes for the often seen dry wicking issues back when first starting out with CE2 and CE3 top coil long wicked atomizers in the 1.6ml replaceable as well as disposable clearomizers. You had to keep turning them upside down and spinning them once the level went down a bit in order to insure the long wicks were wet enough to supply the atomizer. Either that or suffer from burn spots on the wicks!

So far having tried out a vertical bottom coil in a new 1.6ml cllearomizer hasn't won me over either. While never getting the burnt taste it sadly lacks on both flavor and vapor output. When grabbing a buy on a pair of eGo-T 1100 dual battery starter kits for holiday gifts the vendor tossed a loose one in and I gave that a try out on one of the 650 eGo-C Twists I still have around and keep in the mod stand for the low voltage flavors.

Now as far at the Jockery portable charger mentioned earlier on the thread I gave that the full 10hr initial charge and put the MVP on it for the initial run. the two pics here will show how that looks when going to charge the larger mod.

JOCKERY PORTABLE CHARGER.jpg

If you look closely down to the left along the side at the corner you will see the white button you press once the device, battery ,mod one or two are plugged in. Once you press the button the first time and the device or battery starts charging you can press the button several times and the charging led on the MVP seen there won't even blink as nothing will stop the charging process except unplugging the charging cord. The buttom simply activates the charging process while the device takes over from there.

Not crazy at all...it isn't just you. I get a distinctly metallic taste out of mine no matter how long I let them soak before vaping them. I'm really sad about it too...the flavor profile I can discern for the juice is really good, but that extra taste just ruins it. The Kanger's are more muted in flavor for me, but at least the taste is entirely pure. That's really why I've moved on to RBAs at home now and only use the Kanger's in the car since I don't get leakage with them.

Can anybody tell me where to get one ? I have looked everywhere even Eleaf's web site. If someone has one photos of both side would be nice. Can the stick slide in and out easy ? The pics I have seen in this thread it looks that the fire button is covered .Is that right ? If the user has to take out to vape it would be a pain and worthless. Thanks for any info......

They appear to be in stock here,

Leather Case | For Eleaf iStick | Free Shipping

It does look like the fire button is covered.

I'm sure when Scandalex or others with the case log in they can answer your questions.

The buttons are covered over while the display isn't. Plus there's an opening at the bottom to allow charging while the iStick is in the case. You would have to remove it from the case in order to adjust the wattage while pressing on the button through the leather should still be able to fire it up. Eleaf iStick Leather Case - New

Have that annoyance with the cover on a cell phone belt holder when finding the menus are open since the cover presses in on the keys while moving about! There will be more pictures added supposedly according to the vendor there at a later date. But these will go fast and it's at a good price there at the moment.

Again, NOT Pulse Width Modulation. This is not the big power problem with the iStick.

The iStick hits harder because it is tuned to Means, not to RMS, which has become the current standard.

If the iStick was tuned to RMS, even with its PWM, it would have very few complaints, other than a few keen tasters can tell the difference between PWM and a steady DC flat wave current. (I can't :) )

Isn't this old news since the pbusardo vid?

Thanks Night Hawlk
I see from the pics a square for the fire button that maybe able to cut out with a knife ? Is that correct ?
I have some of the cases and you can press all the function buttons with the case on. You do not have to take the iStick out to adjust anything or cut new holes in it :)

Actually if you shop around a little you can still get the regular Nautilus for about $22- at a few of the vendors while the rest are looking upwards of $45!
$29 at Aspire Nautilus - VistaVapors, Inc.
Also $28.95 at VaporBeast http://www.vaporbeast.com/aspire-nautilus-adjustable-airflow-tank-system.html
and $25 at $25-Aspire Nautilus BVC Tank, - $25.00
And of course $21.99 at Genuine ASPIRE Nautilus - 101 Vape

How about $19 with FREE shipping?

I've ordered 3 (so far) from them. Are authentic and longest took 5 days to get.
