Ok, so I was in the same boat. I love the Nautilus mini/Istick combo, but the small tank just makes it a pain to always refill. I don't like the standard Nautilus that much, since it does gurgle a lot. So someone on here many pages ago talked about the Silo from Beyond Vape- one of the same designers as the Nautilus, but it's just plain old better. This thing is amazing; it's now my all-day tank that I use on the istick.
Now, it doesn't fit like a glove, as it's a bit big on it. But in terms of performance for a larger thank that still uses BVC coils, I totally recommend it. No burnt hits so far, and I've been going through almost a tank a day and with no leaking, spitting, nothing. They even have a istick/silo combo package:
Midlevel : Beyond Vape, Electronic Cigarettes, Premium Vaporizers, Premium Vaping Products
Note, shipping is a bit pricey. I would read some other threads on it, their mini version is not great in my opinion, as the there is no draw adjuster. But this big boy has a hole one bigger than a Naut that you can adjust to.
(And I just noticed BVC funk. Not sure what you mean, so maybe this isn't the answer)![]()
Yeah not crazy about the BVC coils. I know it sounds crazy, but I can TASTE them, and it's bad. Really no matter what I do I can taste them, though some are worse than others. I'm not burning them, I feel like it is the material inside. I have got the stuff to try to rebuild nautilus coils but I haven't had time to sit down and fool with it yet. It is not something I'd want to do every day, but I have a little box full of spent BVC coils for my nautilus so it seems a shame to waste them without trying it at least. I really love the flavor quality of a rebuildable now that I've tried one, but I was concerned because it seemed like it might drain the battery of the iStick to such a degree that it would make it impractical for all day out of the house vaping which is what I otherwise think the iStick is perfect for.
My main battery related panic about the iStick was me being a dummy and not charging correctly for sure. I've been vaping today since 9:30 am on my Orchid, 1.1 ohm, set at 8.6W, and the battery icon has barely moved. I had never let it get up to a full charge, before last night. Now that I've got two more that should be here on Friday (whoot! Eciggity!) I feel like I should be able to keep them charged like they're supposed to be, and rotate batteries with my Orchid and hopefully a Lemo when I can finally get my hands on one of those little buggers, they seem sold out everywhere, and be good to go.
